Don’t order from Swiss Colony! Outrageous shipping prices and can’t get the product on time. Their customer service is NO help. I was told the late product was packed for freshness…it finally showed up very late and guess what wasn’t even fresh. Yes! It was crushed and going stale. Customer service wants to give you a 10% discount off of your next purchase. No! I will not purchase from them again. BUYERS BEWARE, choose another company.

I unfortunately trusted this company to send gifts to my sister in Alaska and my grandchildren in northern Georgia. However, the system they have for sending products to different addresses did not work for me. Despite entering my relatives' addresses correctly, all the items were mistakenly sent to my address, leaving them without their gifts. When I called customer service, they almost called me a liar. I explained that I had provided the correct addresses, but they didn't believe me. They eventually sent me a disappointing email apologizing for the mistake. Given the high cost of shipping, I was only refunded one dollar for the incorrect shipments. This situation is both regrettable and shameful, especially considering how they treat their customers. I urge my friends to be cautious. There are many other reputable places online where you can buy these products and receive better customer service.

I ordered a variety of meat sticks, which were tasty. I also ordered the Baklava because it's always been delicious. Not this time. The bottom was hard and the nut filling was sparse. There wasn't a lot of that honey based glaze either. Shrinkflation! My order total was around $73 for these 2 things! But, they said I needed to pay the shipping which was almost $28! If I didn't pay it, I'd keep getting a $15 late fee. So, I paid it. So, it was $101 for 2 products + shipping. What a rip-off! Even if the Baklava was scrumptious, it's still not worth $36+ shipping. I'll make my own Baklava next time. It will be tastier and cheaper. No more purchasing from Swiss Colony.

Received as Christmas gift from my Daughter. I hope she doesn't ever send me this again. Mediocre at best. Wasted money, and a waste of calories. It would probably be a welcomed gift if you where in Prison.

Swiss colony package never received. I did my annual Christmas shopping on the Swiss colony website December 12 when the website said the deadline for standard Christmas shipping was December 15. One of the 9 gifts never made it (and still not there as of this review, 12/31/24). I called Swiss colony who advised me to call Fex Ex on 12/27. I contacted Fed Ex who indicated that Swiss colony had put the wrong label or address on the label, so I called back Swiss colony. I was told they would do a re shipment which should be received by 1/3/25 and they offered me a 10% future discount. I'm sorry, but after I've been a regular customer of Swiss colony for the last several years this is the best compensation you're willing to offer? I'm thinking sending me a free item (similar to the missing item I purchased for my cousin) would be more fair. Fed Ex said they couldn't complete the original shipment as they had the wrong information. The Swiss colony website order clearly shows the correct address. I had it submitted prior to the deadline that you had listed on your website. I followed your rules on your website and then you put the wrong label on the package causing it to not go to the recipient. Swiss colony can keep pointing fingers at the shipper or just take responsibility to offer a long term customer, such as myself, more reasonable compensation. I've made like 5 calls on this to Swiss colony as well as Fed Ex over the last week, plus the time to write this review. If my business to you is only worth 10% fine. I'll go Hickory Farms next Christmas. I'm not happy with how Swiss colony is handling this.

I had ordered 2 gifts for relatives out of state. One was to go to Victoria, TX and the other one to OKC. Both needed to be packaged to be kept cold. They were both delivered but were not shipped as they should've been. Both deliveries were disasters and the food was spoiled. I don't know if I should give the company kudos for getting spoiled food to the delivery addresses in time for Christmas or not. I've got pictures of the shipments. I got in touch with Swiss Colony about both shipments. So far, I only received a refund on one of those shipments. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER!

I had used Swiss colony and their provided 'credit' for about 20 years. In 2004, I had to file bankruptcy and (naturally) I had to involve Swiss colony in it since you're not allowed to pick and choose creditors. So it's true, Swiss Colony lost several hundred dollars in this activity. After 18 years had passed, I attempted to place a very modest order with Swiss Colony and they flat out denied it as they looked backwards to my bankruptcy from 20 years ago. It's probably for the best as folks that I know that have ordered from Swiss Colony have had disastrous results and the products they sell are not the way they used to be. Prices are gigantic and sizes are teeny tiny. Seeing all the disgruntled reviews, I seriously wonder how Swiss Colony stays in business.

When I ordered, I had a Visa gift card that I wanted to use to pay some of the amount, and then I planned to pay the rest with my debit card. Well, that didn't work. I did not get a notice from Swiss Colony about it. The partial payment showed that it went through, but I followed up to make sure the rest was paid. That took 40 minutes on the phone because the girl had no idea how to handle this. She ended up refunding the money to the Visa gift card, and I had to put the whole amount on my debit card. The order was shipped via FedEx. They are terrible in my area. My gift was left at the mailbox, not on my porch. It was raining, so the lazy b****** didn't want to get out to deliver it properly. The boxes were soaked and deformed. Luckily the individual meats and cheeses were wrapped in plastic or everything would have been ruined. Later, I was telling my mother about my order. She sent a gift to my niece's husband (her granddaughter's hubby) who is in the Army serving in South Korea. She placed an order at the beginning of the month with a representative since she had never shipped overseas. The representative assured her the gift would arrive for Christmas. No, it didn't. The order showed it did not move until Dec. 23 when it was sent to the shipper. Then, it sat there until after Christmas.
