Not worth it!
I sent some gifts for my parents for Christmas and signed up for the credit to pay later. Thought everything was set. My parents received their gifts with no problem. Then it went down hill from there. Instead of taking money out of my account every month, Swiss Colony sent my parents a bill. Who wants the receiver to find out how much you paid for the gift and also receive a bill.
Needless to say, when mom called and told me this I was not happy. I had to call customer service which was a nightmare. They proceeded to send me back and forth for 45 minutes and was told the reason that I did not have money taken out in Jan was because they closed my account, what. I finally was able to reenroll in the credit program. Which they did in fact take out a portion of the bill, finally. But to top everything else, Swiss Colony put down the address for billing and shipping the same. Why would anyone do this?
And then I just received a voice mail that my parents received another bill. Which upsets me even more. Would not recommend buying from this company it is not worth the hassle, and my parents now think I was making them pay for their own gift.

Garbage website and customer service
Garbage website and customer service. I ordered 3 items but was only able to send the items to 2 addresses; the website said "call 'number' to ship to an additional address for $3.99". So I placed the order, and several hours later I received a purchase confirmation email. I called the number given four times in the next 4 hours; "we are experiencing high call volume, call back later...click." The next morning I called and after a long period on hold I was able to talk to a person, who could not handle the address change ("I don't think you can do that") so he transferred me to a supervisor. After a total of 50 minutes on the phone, the supervisor said "it's too late, the order has already gone out" - I pointed out that the online order status said otherwise. She then was somehow able to make the change "as a courtesy, but next time, you need to call us right away". After all that - the change wasn't made so one of the recipients received two gifts, one of which was intended for someone else.

EARLY SHIPPING!!! I have been buying your products for…
I have been buying your products for years as gifts for the holidays, I have relatives that live on the west coast and in Jersey. When I ordered food this year it asked me when I wanted the delivery. I asked it to be after December 20th so it would be in time for holiday food with family. The packages arrived on the 12th. And I'm sorry why did they bother to ask me when I wanted it to ship I would have just ordered it myself at a later time. When I called customer service they thought the only thing that would make me happy would be to give me 10% off my bill. I don't even think that covered the shipping cost. I am done with Swiss Colony

Better off to support your local grocery store/bakery
I have always believed heavily in supporting our small, family owned, USA businesses. So, I was thrilled a few years ago to discover Swiss Colony. They were offering credit, and I decided to place a nice order for their cute cake rolls shaped like snowmen, etc. However, they arrived in transit after about 3 weeks of being on the road, and were very stale. I contacted them about this (they were truly gross), and they told me that they do not go stale that quickly. This should have been my big red flag that they are far from fresh. However, I was determined to try again. The following Christmas, I sent everyone I could think of a gift set of summer sausage, cheese, and crackers. All of my family members were far from impressed. Apparently, they'd had far better from other places. So, this year I decided to try again and only order chocolates. Can't go wrong with chocolates! It was my husband and my 39th wedding anniversary, and he just loves the different kinds of chocolates. The chocolate covered cherries apparently rode in a truck in nothing but a tin (no special packaging outside of the pretty red tin) for over a week to our home in SE Texas (already well into the 90's in later May). Needless to say, those chocolate covered cherries were just one big glob when my husband opened them. I contacted customer support, and this time they offered to replace or refund them. I told them I'd love to have them replaced if they could please pack them and ship them a little more appropriately. This time they arrived only half melted, so I didn't worry about it.
I then discovered about a week ago that Swiss Colony reported me a few years back because that first order was paid a few months after the purchase. That was the time frame that I tried really hard to work out the issue of the totally stale shipment...to no avail. I then went ahead and paid them and moved on. So, I discovered that they reported this from a few years ago, and my credit literally took a good size hit from this late payment of 90 days. They can be proud to know it hit me good. I brought it to their attention, and they responded that they can't remove it, because the credit reporting agency won't allow them to, and because it wouldn't be honest. They have to report what is honest is how they explained it to me. I went on to tell them that companies work with customers all of the time when they value them. Especially when they only have such a thing happen one time. We've always paid them off within a couple of weeks of purchase since then. I also have to mention that this occurance happened back before they gave any ability to make a payment online, or even by phone. You had to reach a customer service rep during business hours M-F to make that payment. That was not easy. So, today when I responded one more time to let them know that maybe my business isn't valuable to them any longer since they've apparently grown enough to not care. Their response was "Thank you for contacting the Credit Department. We have updated our records with the information you have provided. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience we have caused you." So, I will be supporting our local grocery store and bakery going forward. Swiss Colony doesn't need my meager support, and I don't need their stale or melted messes.

Gift tin…
We received a food gift tin for christmas. It contained confection covered nuts, confection covered mini pretzels, ( not real chocolate )jellied candies, tiny Candy Christmas trees similar to candy corn, party mix, mini pretzels, and salt water taffy. The only thing that was decent in the whole tim was the saltwater taffy. Everything else was awful, especially the party mix it tasted like rancid oil. I would not purchase anything from Swiss colony. This was a gift I appreciated the thought.

Not very customer friendly
Been a customer for years, decided to go back. How disappointing; even entering addresses is cumbersome, since certain obvious characters are not accepted and addresses, including "N". For "North" . I find that unnecessarily difficult.
Then, when my email confirmation came, the amount charged was not included, only my order number. All the other services we use show the amount.
As an elderly person I appreciate the confirmation. Why should I have to go back online to see the amount charged?
