I’m not a person who reviews very much. I usually buy a product and the moment I get it, I’m off to fight my next disaster. However, the purchase of my new replacement refrigerator warrants a review. RV appliances either work or they don’t, there is never a window of opportunity to buy something ahead of time or be proactive in its replacement. My RV refrigerator went out on a Tuesday evening and after some quick research I purchased a replacement from THE NORCOLD GUY. This was at approximately 9pm on Tuesday mountain time. I received a phone call from the shipping company on Friday morning that he was at the RV park and wanting to deliver. In conclusion....Very quick delivery, price was the same as rip-off, I mean camping world except I didn’t have to wait the 2-3 weeks they said it would take to get it. THE VERY BEST PART OF MY EXPERIENCE is that the replacement fit like a glove in the refrigerator cabinet. 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation.

I have ordered from The Norcold Guy a couple of times, for older model RV refrigerators. Have always received the correct parts, in a timely fashion for a fair price. Great.

Quick service

Our refrigerator door hinge broke and I found The Norcold Guy on line. My call was answered right away and I had my door in 3 days. Our excitement was short lived. Many parts were missing.....9 to be exact. I tried calling the number for days leaving messages with them. I even left some with the Technician. I NEVER got a call back. Then I emailed. Twelve slow and sporadic responses only to find out if they had told me to begin with Norcold changed their door style and all those extra parts are needed and sold SEPARATELY! I actually had to get a hold of a Norcold Rep to find out the parts numbers and when I mentioned needing the parts, the response I got was to give them the parts numbers and they will order it. I had already found them on Amazon and knew I could get them for half of what they were charging me. This whole entire fiasco could have been handled by just stating if my old door was a waffle or smooth surface and they most definitely should have said that you will need 4 trays, 2 separate hinges, 2 separate pins and re-enforcement brace. Customer Service seriously needs improving.
