Hello Vernon; We're very sorry about the delay in getting the correct Cichlids to you and hope the free Discus is working well for you. The Blue Diamond Discus you ordered was a juvenile. For all of our juvenile Discus, they typically run between 1.5-2 inches and we list them as ~2 inches on our website. They always fall in that range when we receive them from our suppliers and some may be more toward 2 inches than others. However, we understand you thought it would be larger. They do grow quite quickly and we hope you will be happy with the full color and size as it grows. We thank you for your patience, your business and your feedback.

Hi Chris; This doesn't sound good at all. When this happens, we like to work with the customer to understand more about the tank parameters, tankmates and the behavior/appearance of the fish upon receipt and after. You ordered a Rasbora, Pleco and Guppies and it's unusual to have 3 different species of fish die in such a short period of time. We'd really like to know more about the situation. We do like to work with our customers in prepping their tanks and maintaining a healthy tank once they acclimate their fish. We encourage all customers to communicate with us so we can avoid these experiences and ensure that there is a positive outcome. Hello Van; We wish your experience could have been a better one. You had ordered three Discus from us and a Bamboo Shrimp. Two of the Discus were our 2" juveniles. Discus often don't show their full colors until they reach adulthood so they often appear somewhat faded at that stage. Also, black peppering on Discus is normal. Usually discus fish that have a pigeon blood gene in them are prone to black peppering spots. Black peppering spots are a natural way for discus to adapt and camouflage themselves into their environment. If your aquarium has a dark colored background with dark colored gravel your discus fish will adapt to the colors. In order to reduce the amount of black spots on discus fish you need to change the colors inside your aquarium. With discus the best color gravel or sand should be bright white. Stay away from dark gravel and dark backgrounds. Usually white gravel with light blue background is the best colors to make your fish look really bright and reduces the black peppering. Not sure what the remainder of the "wack" look of the discus involves that you are referring to so we can't really address it! You also ordered a 4 inch Gold Pigeon Blood Discus which was priced on sale at $59.99 and not the original price of $79.99. We did make a mistake in not shipping it and would have immediately shipped it without any added shipping cost the day you notified us but you requested a refund instead. Overall, we're sorry you were displeased with your experience with us and wish you the best in your aquarium hobby.
