Salvini were all sick with some parasite and got the wrong Oscars the Bumblebee cichlids were absolutely phenomenal so IFish is excellent with some species but needs work on others all in all I will continue to buy from them at least they try to make it right where other stores don’t even respond

I ve ordered atleast 5 everytime now, 3 times for sure probably within 3-4 month's. I've lost 2 everytime within 2 days. Wish I would have taken pics of last stary night Cichlid 3 " I received last. Fins were terrible. The last batch i paid extra for all 3-4" and blew my mind when I got them. I've spent 100s there by now. They have anything you want. I feel shorted on size each time. And know I'm loosing 1, or 2. The rest are awesome, have grown, beautiful.

Hi Tom; We really appreciate that you’ve ordered with us several times, and we’re glad to hear that many of your fish are doing well. That said, we completely understand your frustration with losing one or two fish from each order and feeling disappointed with the size of some you’ve received. We’re also sorry to hear about the condition of the Starry Night Cichlid’s fins. We really do appreciate your continued business and your honest feedback. So please don’t hesitate to reach out to us when something doesn’t seem right...we’d much rather have the opportunity to work with you at the time and see how we can help. In doing so, we usually find a way to rectify the situation.

When my fish arrived, there was a dead fish in the bag looks as though he could have been dead for days and also there was like a 4 inch piece of plastic bag. Also, in there with the fish, I text a picture of the fish in the plastic and never got a response. Not good for customer service

Hi Steven; We’re very sorry to hear about this. We don’t seem to have received the text or photo you mentioned, and we apologize that you were left feeling like we didn’t respond. Could you please resend the photo by email to [email protected]? We’ll be happy to look into what happened and work with you to get this resolved. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Shipping was delayed but that was because of FedEx shipping.
Response from The iFISH StoreJun 22, 2026
Hi Michael; Here’s a friendly, conversational reply: Thank you for your review! We really appreciate your understanding regarding the shipping delay. Unfortunately, once a package is in FedEx’s hands, occasional delays can happen that are outside of our control. We’re glad your order still made it safely, and we’re grateful you chose us. We hope you’re enjoying your African Cichlids!

Fish arrived alive but did not seem happy, the water they were in was dirty and seemed like such a small amount for the amount of fish. I have ordered from other companies where the fish arrive sooner and are packaged much better.
Response from The iFISH StoreJun 3, 2026
Hi Gabrielle; Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear your fish arrived alive, but we're sorry to learn they didn't make the best first impression when you opened the box. Your order was delivered four days after it was placed, which is within our stated processing and delivery timeframe. It's also normal for fish to appear stressed after shipping, and the water in the bags can sometimes become discolored during transit due to waste accumulation and stress. While it may not look appealing, it is a common part of the shipping process and doesn't necessarily indicate a problem with the fish's health. We do wish you had reached out to us when you first received your order. We're always happy to review photos, answer questions, and help assess the condition of newly arrived fish. Our goal is for every customer to be successful, and we're here to help whenever concerns arise. We appreciate you giving us a try and value your feedback as we continue to improve.

They offer 2” discus for very good price but I received 1” and 1.5” , only 1 with 2”
Response from The iFISH StoreMay 26, 2026
Hi Damir; Thanks so much for your feedback! We advertise our discus as ~2” because they typically range between about 1.5”–2” depending on the individual fish. We’re sorry the sizing wasn’t quite what you expected, but we’re glad at least one arrived right at the 2” mark. We do our best to provide healthy, well-started juveniles at a great value, and we truly appreciate you giving us a try!

The Ciclid fish I received died the next morning after receiving it
Response from The iFISH StoreMar 30, 2026
Hi Martha, We’re sorry to see your 1-star review and truly wish we had the opportunity to help. We never received any notification that the fish arrived in poor condition or passed after delivery. If we had known, we would have done everything we could to assist right away. Regarding your concern about overnight shipping that you emailed us about, as mentioned in our email reply, FedEx Next Day Air refers to the transit time once the order ships. We ship Monday through Wednesday to ensure safe delivery for the fish, and all orders go through a preparation and quarantine process before leaving our facility. We always encourage customers to reach out within our live arrival window if there are any issues so we can make it right. Please feel free to contact us — we’re here to help and would still be happy to take a closer look at what may have happened.

The quality of the discus is not for serious discus keepers.
