WOW! I should have come here before even reaching out to them! They are by far the most unprofessional team i have ever dealt with. We have been looking for some business insurance and the "Support" was beyond rude and unprofessional when asking about basic term meanings and coverages. I would stay far away!

Hartford Homeowners with AARP is totally worthless. We were denied coverage because we have a flat roof...a blanket denial inspite of the roof being new and in excellent condition with TPO as opposed to fabric. They did nothing to help us. This reflects badly on both Hartford and AARP, who only uses Hartford as an insurance provider.

OMG! I reported my Auto claim to The Hartford and Bobby Ryan was the claims adjuster! I am not sure how he still has a job to be honest with you. Bobby would not reply to any of my mechanics claims inquiries, so after 4 weeks, my mechanic shop asked me to please remove my car from their lot. Still no reply from Bobby Ryan. I finally sent an email to him and the adjuster and her boss( got emails from Linkedin) and cc'd the Insurance Commissioner of Georgia and low and behold, my phone was blowing up the next day. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental for 60 days due to Bobby Ryan's incompetence and his entire team. Dont you know they raised my rates the following year, the exact same amount that they paid for the claim. ($1200)

I have received an email from this company about a compensation claim for someone else. Sadly (or fortunately for data protection reasons) it doesn't contain any contact information for the client or I would forward it to them. The worrying part is that email states the information is time critical, hence my efforts to let someone know about their error. However, contacting them (without personal cost (I'm in the UK and the details are for an American)) is very difficult. You can't reply to the email and after finding them online they only have a number for the states or a postal address. Not wanting to give up I tried contacting them via messenger on facebook, only to receive an automated response stating the team monitoring this was away and to use there website contact details. I tried searching through the site for alternative methods to no avail, until that is, I decided to use Google reviews which provided me with a link to a different page on their website for international numbers. I tried three of these, two had no response while a third was unavailable at the moment. After wasting over an hour trying to contact them, I finally decided to give up and leave this review. I did look look on other sites for company reviews only to find they are very negative (search for yourselves, they are very easy to find). To Jeremy (the person on the email) I sincerely hope that your claim gets processed. I am hoping that maybe someone will see these reviews and contact me. While writing this review, I had received a second email with a different address, so I have replied to this one in the hopes they will get it and realise they have sent it to the wrong person.

Apply for auto insurance I was sent a letter stating I was denied because they state credit age of car or cost of car my credit is over 800 my car was a year old and under 30k I find it very strange that aarp would back this company stating it is good for seniors a pack of lies

Hartford paid me short term disability for 6 weeks. Then Hartford demanded a total refund. They said i was approved for workman's compensation. This was false, I never received a penny from WC, I was Denied wc. Hartford then threatened to ruin my credit and turn their unfounded return of money. HARTFORD STILL OWES ME 2 PAYMENTS, typical corporate mistake and blaming me, 75 years, was unable to return to work, shame on HARTFORD for not simply contacting Workman's Compensation.

The Hartford is the administrator of several of the company I work for's benefits. They have been a nightmare as I try to get my FMLA filed and approved to provide end of life care for my father. It is very upsetting to deal with their lack of concern for my protected time away from work. They scrutinized the paper work completed by hospice asking I provided times for flare ups and appointments. The hospice listed specifically on the form my father needs 24/7 care.
