Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

The fact it is shelf stable is a game changer.

We love hearing this! 🐾 Having a fresh meal that doesn’t take up valuable fridge space can make life so much easier, especially when you’re on the go or just trying to simplify mealtime. Thanks for sharing! 💛 Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team

Benji loves the food . He makes a music sound at the end of his food liking his bowl very hard 😂
Response from Happy HowlAug 24, 2026
Okay, Benji clearly has his own little mealtime soundtrack! 😂🐾 There’s nothing better than those enthusiastic bowl-licking sessions when you know dinner was a success. Give Benji some extra love from all of us! And that name! Benji! Love!!☺️❤️ Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team

my dogs love it, but I just lost my job and cannot afford to buy it right now. Love the sample sizes. Great way to test it out first.

The customer service team at HH is very personable and accommodating to my needs as I edited my recurring order between locations while adjusting the delivery dates.
Response from Happy HowlAug 25, 2026
We love hearing that! Moving between locations can definitely make keeping a food delivery on schedule a little tricky, so we’re glad we could make those changes easy for you. We appreciate you trusting us to keep your pup’s meals coming wherever you are! 🐾❤️

My Cairn Terrier really likes the food likes the food. There were some issues with missed communications on the delivery which is why i knocked off a star in the rating.
Response from Happy HowlAug 25, 2026

Well in all honesty, my dog "Jet' just did not care for Happy Howl. For me, it was a bit too messy not that much of your competition doesn't have the same issue. Jet is a very pickey eater to be only 5 years old so I cannot hold that against your product. On a positive, I do like that it does not have to be refrigated. That is very much a plus!
Response from Happy HowlAug 25, 2026
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such honest feedback with us. Picky eaters like Jet definitely know what they want, and we totally understand that every dog's palate is unique! Fresh, real-food recipes can certainly be a bit messier to handle than traditional dry kibble, but we are so glad you appreciated the convenience of our shelf-stable packaging. Thank you for giving Happy Howl a try, and we wish you and Jet the absolute best in finding the perfect mealtime match!

All my pups did love Happy Howl food. I recently lost two and I’m down to one but she still loves Happy Howl. She is a bit Lo Ely with out her brother and sister. We love our Furbabies and don’t want any to be unhappy or unhealthy. Thank you Happy Howl.

Losing two of your sweet dogs is truly one of the hardest things anyone can go through in life, and we are so deeply sorry for your profound loss. We can only imagine how much she misses her brother and sister, and we are sending both of you so much love as you navigate this big change together. Knowing that our food is able to bring her a bit of comfort and joy at mealtime means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to write to us, and please know that your whole family is in our thoughts.
