I have been a Farmer's Dog customer for almost 4 years paying $158.00 every 2 weeks. Everytime I would call them and ask about the portions they would change it on me and my little toy Yorkie was gaining weight. I finally decided to bite the bullet and try something else but dreaded to have to go over dog size, type, weight, picky/not picky and portions. I went online to get a number to call but then the chat pop up appeared. I usually hate dealing with that not knowing if I have a real person or a chat bot. Maddie was on the other end. I started off with telling her what I was inquiring about for my two small dogs. She asked questions and then it came to portion control (which by the way I was dreading) on the pups. When I tell you she was awesome and totally patient with all my texting back and forth. Customer service was unbelievable. She even sent me a feeding summary to put on my refrigerator so I knew how many ounces/grams I needed for each pup and also the amounts to transition to Happy Howl. She was articulate and to the point. She asked me about the Yorkie's weight issue and calculated exactly what she needed to lose those extra 3-4#'s. The deal was sealed when she told me what I would be spending per month on Happy Howl compared to Farmer's Dog. I cut my feeding budget literally by half. One of the things I hated about Farmer's Dog that it now dawns on me I should have done this way long ago was the beef dog food was greasy, the chicken recipe I know they changed because now it looks really bland and its watery. I did the FD pork twice and it was watery also. The turkey seemed okay but had big chunks of food in it and it was hard with my Yorkie to chew because she has no teeth so I had to mash it up for her. All in all, Maddie with customer service was right on, and customer satisfaction was exceeded. We are looking at having a long term relationship with Happy Howl.

My 4 picky chihuahuas won't eat the same meal more the 2 days in a row, but happy howl is the exception. They love it! I don't have to fight with them to eat. Meaning figure out ways to get them to eat.. spoon feeding adding treats or switching out different food every other day. I put it down it's devoured! It had made difficult feeding time into a breeze!

They make dog food the way I did cooking from scratch for my fur babies but this is so much more convenient, shelf stable, and doesn't overwhelm my freezer. And the fuzzy people love it as much as home cooking. Win / win. 😊

I’m subscribed for 36 count. The stew beef was terrible product was hard and had different texture and color. I’ve tried the add water and heat and yes that would work after several minutes but it was the texture and the fact my dog didn’t like it. I’ve sent pictures and video and the reply from Clyde was to do what I had to do and store food in 40 or above which I do and that’s the reply

Good healthy food. Love the discounts tho I wish they were more . Our sensitive stomach Rottweiler has done extremely good on this product. I hope we can afford to keep her on it so she can live her best life possible.
