Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My pups loves happy howl. They gobble it right up. 😋However, I did not receive the extra long spoon or the storage bag😕

I may have the pickiest dog when it comes to food. I have spent an obscene amount of money trying different foods to appease the Princess. Enter Happy Howl. One sniff and it was love at first bite.. Thank you!
Response from Happy HowlJan 12, 2026
Love at first bite is exactly what we hope for, and we’re thrilled she’s enjoying her meals. Thank you for sharing your experience!

The quality of Happy Howl is excellent. I tried 2 other online freeze dried products and my newly adopted dog wouldn't touch them. However, the sampler pack for 6 meals for my 45 pound dog was $30. I've decided to forego buying any commercial dog food and go back to preparing my own version of dogfood. I must add that Jeff was great. He contacted me several times over the course. So I would say customer service is excellent too!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear your dog enjoyed Happy Howl and that our sampler gave you a good sense of the product. We completely understand your decision to return to preparing your own meals, and we appreciate your honest feedback. We’re also thrilled that Jeff was able to provide excellent support, thank you for recognizing him! Your kind words about our service mean a lot to us.
