Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My dogs love this. I wish it was a little less expensive

We’re so glad your dogs love Happy Howl! We understand that cost is an important consideration. One way many of our customers make it more affordable is by using Happy Howl as a topper instead of a full meal, your pups still get the taste and benefits they love, but it stretches the product further.

Avery morning one of my dogs wakes me up before light to say it's time for HAppy Howl! After 3 months on this food, the dogs -- a Chihuahua and a MaltiPoo are livelier, better coats and the Chihuahua is returning to a healthy weight. And both formerly picky eaters lick their plates clean!

The package food is convenient, but I can’t get my dog to eat it

Some dogs can be picky at first. A few tips that often help: try mixing Happy Howl with a bit of their regular food or a small topper to make it more enticing, or serve it slightly warmed for 10 seconds in a microwave safe bowl (just a little, to release aroma).

First off, I have tried many different foods for my very picky eater and I have not found one he loves until now. He prefers grandmas beef stew but still really likes the lambs one. I look for a low crude fat content since apparently small dogs have issues with too high of fat which leads to pancreatitis (I learned the hard way). I wanted to just try it but will be setting up a subscription some he loves it!!

My dog loved your product but for a retiree it’s just too expensive.

Many of our customers in similar situations use Happy Howl as a topper meal plan instead of a full meal. Just a small amount mixed with their regular food still gives their dog the taste and benefits they love, while helping the product last much longer and keeping costs more manageable. We truly appreciate you giving Happy Howl a try and are grateful for your honesty and support.

My puppy wont eat the food.i have tried many times.

We’re sorry to hear that your puppy isn’t taking to the food yet, we know how frustrating that can be. Every pup is different, especially puppies who can be extra picky or sensitive to new textures and flavors. A few things that sometimes help: •Start slow: Mix a very small amount of Happy Howl with food your puppy already eats, then gradually increase over several days. •Warm it slightly (just warm, not hot in a microwave safe bowl) to bring out the aroma •Try a different flavor if you have more than one, puppies often have strong preferences. •Serve small portions and remove the bowl after 15–20 minutes to build interest at mealtime.

I don’t have to add anything extra to get them to eat it. I’m 77 and I’ve tried every organic dog food there is and Hapoy Howl is the first one they eat without extras. Love the containers, no freezer or refrigeration before opening. All 4 dogs love the different varieties! Thank you!!!

We’re honored to hear that after trying so many organic dog foods, Happy Howl is the first one your dogs happily eat without any extras. Knowing that all four of your pups love the different varieties and that the shelf-stable containers make life easier means everything to us. Your trust and kind words are deeply appreciated. Thank you for choosing Happy Howl and for being part of our family, we’re so glad we could help make mealtime simpler and more enjoyable for you and your dogs!
