Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

I would really love a break down of the feeding schedule but when I go through the desired weight it’s just another gimmick of purchasing a plan.

If you’d like, we can provide a straightforward feeding chart for your dog so you can follow a schedule without any subscription requirement. This way you’ll have a clear plan that works for your dog’s size and needs, with no pressure to buy.

My dog loved this food from her first bite. Sally (the dog) can be a picky eater and has been known to go 2 days without eating if her bowl has something she doesn't like. With my previous dogs, who were both seniors, I used a competing food that was great but required freezer storage. Since my only freezer is on top of my refrigerator, this meant I had to give up over 1/2 of the space to dog food storage. I was burned out on that arrangement by the time the 2 pups passed on. I have since adopted a 5 year old pup, Sally. I wanted to give her quality food too but without using freezer space. HAPPY HOWL is the perfect solution. It's quality food that Sally loves that is shelf stable. What a genius solution!! Thank you so much for HAPPY HOWL it solved my feeding problems.

Just started both my English Bulldogs on Happy Howl. My oldest was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. I started making him fresh meals and saw a big difference but knew it was lacking in the necessary vitamins and supplements. I’ve tried other fresh prepared brands in the past, none of which he liked. Happy to say both love Happy Howl. Looking forward to seeing his stomach issues improve. In just a couple of days on the new food, he is already less gassy.

We’re thrilled to hear that both of your English Bulldogs are loving Happy Howl, especially after trying other fresh brands that didn’t work out. It’s wonderful to know you’re already seeing positive changes with less gas in just a few days, and we truly hope his tummy continues to improve as he adjusts.

There was an order mix up for me and my bulldog. It appeared like I had 2 separate orders. Clyde from customer service fixed this and all good!!

Really happy with Happy Howl. My pup, Bijou, loves it, but only gave 4 starts because the Turkey meal has been very mushy the last couple of deliveries. Not sure what the issue is but may have to remove the Turkey from my next order…
Response from Happy HowlFeb 3, 2026
We’re thrilled to hear that Bijou loves Happy Howl, and we truly appreciate you letting us know about the texture issue with the Turkey meals. Sometimes slight texture variations can happen due to the natural ingredients, but that’s definitely not the experience we want for you. We’d be more than happy to send replacements for the Turkey meals or swap them out for another recipe in your next order, just let us know what works best for you!
