Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

That is music to our ears! There is truly nothing better than a happy pup who looks forward to mealtime. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for trusting us with her bowl—we are so thrilled to have her as a fan!

My dogs like the taste. That’s all I care about.
Response from Happy HowlJul 12, 2026
At the end of the day, that and nutrition is exactly what matters most! A licked-clean bowl and a happy pup is the ultimate goal, and we are absolutely thrilled to hear that our stews are passing the taste test with flying colors. Thank you so much for sharing the love!

My dogs love this food but it felt like it took a long time to arrive.
Response from Happy HowlJul 13, 2026
We are so thrilled to hear that your dogs are absolutely loving their food! However, we are so sorry that it felt like it took too long to arrive at your door. We know how important it is to keep your pups on a consistent schedule, and we are constantly working to speed up our transit times. Thank you so much for your patience, and we'll do our absolute best to get their next batch to you much faster!

As an older dog parent, it has been hard to find a food that is nutritionally sound that my dog will eat. My dog becomes animated when I set his Happy Howl dog food in front of him to eat.
Response from Happy HowlJul 12, 2026
We are sending a huge hug to you and your sweet pup! Finding a food that passes the ultimate sniff-and-taste test while ticking every nutritional box for an older dog is no easy feat, and you are doing an amazing job taking care of him. Knowing he gets truly excited the second his bowl hits the floor is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you for the wonderful shoutout, and welcome to the Happy Howl family!

My dog didn’t like the food. I asked to cancel the order, but they didn’t and still shipped it. I asked for a return label, so I can return the food once it was delivered, still NO, “ No return, no refund.” So, my $85 will just go to waste or maybe donate to the shelter!

We're so sorry our food wasn't a hit with your pup! To clarify, we send an upcoming order email two days before shipping to allow for any changes. Once that window passes, the order enters fulfillment and cannot be stopped or refunded. We also don't accept returns to ensure our strict safety and freshness standards are never compromised. That being said, we think your idea to donate the shipment to a local shelter is absolutely wonderful! Rescue pups will be incredibly grateful for such a high-quality treat, and we truly appreciate your kindness!

My dog loves this food. I never saw her dish so clean.
Response from Happy HowlJul 12, 2026
We absolutely love hearing this! A licked-clean dish is the ultimate canine stamp of approval, and it completely brightens our day to know she is diving into her meals with that much excitement. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for trusting us with her bowl!

My Chihuahua, while not picky, loves HH and I love it because it’s human grade food and has no fillers.
Response from Happy HowlJul 12, 2026
This completely brightens our day! Chihuahuas may be small, but they certainly know how to appreciate the good stuff. We are so glad that our clean, human-grade stews are hitting the spot for your pup, and we love that you appreciate the lack of fillers in our kitchen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust and support!
