Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

That’s wonderful to hear! 😊 It’s always nice when something makes life with the pups just a little easier. And knowing you can keep a few cartons on hand without having to worry about them is definitely a nice perk! Give the pups some love from us. 🐾 Warm Wags, The Happy Howl Team 🐾

Into our 18th week, and our 13 year old English Cream Retriever couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much to everyone involved in creating the only healthy food that Jack loves longer than two weeks!

So glad I tried this. My latest rescue is a bully with some allergy sensitivities. The lamb recipe has helped his digestion and itching is decreasing. Even with a larger 56 pound dog the subscription cost is pretty affordable compared to the special recipe diets that I would have had to get. He absolutely loves it, and the other pets, including a cat, are also very interested! The texture is just right and it smells like actual food and not some processed mystery.

I like the fact that the food is human grade and doesn't need to be frozen. However, I have the pickiest little Yorkie in the world, I've tried every single dog food ever made - commercial, specialty, freeze dried, frozen, canned, dry kibble, human grade, and anything else you can name. She'll eat it a couple of times and then turns her nose up at it and walks away until she's VERY hungry and then she may eat it. The only food she truly loves is cat food!! If my cats leave anything in their dish my Yorkie devours it until the bowl is shiny and clean. And she only wants to eat once a day and it's usually around 10 pm. I don't know what to do but rotate various foods and hope for the best.

We completely understand your struggle! Yorkies are famous for being picky culinary critics, and sneaking leftover cat food is a classic dog trick because of its rich aroma. We are so glad you appreciate our clean ingredients and convenient storage, and we would love to share a couple of ideas to help win her over: Enhance the aroma: Try adding a tablespoon of warm water or gently warming the food for a few seconds before serving. Fresh food smells amazing when warmed up, which often triggers their appetite. Stick to her natural rhythm: Since she prefers eating once a day at 10 PM, setting her bowl out at her preferred time without pressure can work wonders. Thank you for sharing your experience and giving our food a spot in your rotation. Give your clever little girl a scratch behind the ears from us!
