Started using Farmers Dog when my 15 year old mix Lhapsa, Ramone, had a stroke. He would not eat any food for a week. I tried Farmers, and he instantly took to it. With food in him, he then took in some water. Next, we got him outside and he did his business (although he fell into it). He ate more and more and gained strength, and was acting like a puppy. Ramone is fine now, and looks forward to every meal.

The Farmer’s Dog gave my elderly Miki Jin, a 14 yo Shiba Inu, a renewed interest in the world around her. Despite being deaf and almost blind, Miki has wanted to go on walks when I head for the door, enjoys the dog park again and now is reclaiming her place as the alpha dog which she had relinquished when Charlie, our Goldendoodle, joined our family. Now that we have it finally at the right delivery time with in a week it has been great! We are no longer coming up short before the next delivery. I’m no longer worried about Moxie not having enough food. Thank you

I am actually giving this company a -10 stars! My original review stated that I was not reviewing the actual food itself, but the packaging. The food comes packaged in long plastic tubes that are sealed on both ends. I am only speaking for my own individual experience that I have cerebral palsy that affects my left side including my hand, so for me, handling this packaging was very difficult. For a person with 2 hands you probably would not give it a second thought. So, after trying the trial package I decided I will not be ordering any more of the food, solely because of the packaging issue and NOT because of lack of food quality. BUT, what REALLY angered me was when I went to cancel my subscription, their website proceeds to ask a ton of questions not only about WHY I am cancelling, but about what kind of food I am going to be switching back to and what brands I intend to use and such! To the Farmer's Dog... What I intend to do and what brands I decide to buy other that YOUR food is NONE of your concern and is the reason I am giving you a -10 (Negative 10) rating!

Finley loves the Farmers Dog food. All her dog friends that come over always run to her dish to see if there is anything left! The food looks like people food and smells good, too.

We love Farmer's Dog - the food & the service. Our dog is so much healthier since switching to Farmer's Dog. We can see the visible changes in his weight, his energy and nothing but good reports from his vet. Coupled with consistent exercise & play, changing our dog's diet is the best choice we could have made for our chocolate lab, Kenton.

Our dogs used to love meal time but grew tired of the regular dry dog food over the years to the point where they basically wouldn't eat and would just leave their bowls alone. Farmer's dog is a bit pricier than regular food but the dogs love it and its high-quality, real food, which I am sure is better for their health over the long run.

My dogs love the food. It is delivered on time, and we have never run out of food for our dogs. I feel better feeding the dogs fresh food, and the dogs look and feel great. Customer service is excellent. Our dogs have been eating Farmer's Dog for well over a year. We would never go back to traditional dog food. Thank you Farmer's Dog.
