The team at The Farmer's Dog doesn't just make delicious food, they don't just provide great customer service, they nurture our pets, and provide exceptional, out of this world, true heartfelt kindness. Our baby LOVED his food for 3+ years, licked every last drop from the bowl. And then we got the worst news last week, and I had to cancel our subscription. Sam and the team at The Farmer's Dog were so thoughtful and kind in dealing with the account changes. But then... they sent us flowers and a note to let us know they were thinking of us. Can you imagine - they took time and $ to let us know that we were valued. I'm in awe and so very grateful for the kindness shown to my family this week. All the animals that are ever a future part of our family will only eat the Farmer's Dog. We're proud to be a Farmer's Dog family.

My puppy loves this food but my worrys are that this company is not increasing the amount of food she gets when I enter a new weight. My 6 month old puppy is an American Bully who weighed 25 pounds when I got her and now weighs 37 pounds. Her expected adult weight is 60 pounds. I would have thought that the amount of food I was getting (and maybe the cost as well?) would have increased as I entered her new weight. My puppy seems like she is still starving after she finishes a meal and I am worried that she is not getting enough food.

I signed up for a TRIAL, to TRY this food for my dog. Shortly afterward, and actually the first box from you only just arrived TODAY (July 9, 2021) I received some very bad medical news & will NOT be able to afford this dog food going forward. In my account on The Farmers Dog site, it said if I was going to cancel I had to do it by July 14th, which I absolutely DID observe; I cancelled today. I got an email from some smarty pants on your Customer Service desk that said 'too bad, your next order's already prepared', which is utter NONSENSE if it's truly "fresh food". I promise you, I will file a formal complaint against your company with my State Atty General's Office, Consumer Affairs Division. Your "trial" isn't really a trial at all, but a way to get your foothold into unsuspecting customer's bank accounts or credit cards, where you can make yourselves another couple $hundred$ before the poor consumer can do anything about your chicanery. Even if you made the most fabulous dog food in the world, your business model is DISHONEST, deceptive and disingenuous because you put one date on the website for cancellation and another date altogether when the customer tries to end the subscription. I want you to know: I'm a cancer patient & I'm upset enough right now that really don't care who reads that. I think it'd take some low-life scum to rob me this way after I did exactly what your website said I had to in order to end my subscription, but you're going to bill me again ANYWAY. I saw that other customers leaving reviews here have had the same experience with you. I will see this through to it's bitterest legal end, whatever shape that takes. I'm SICK of e-merchants who use subscriptions as a way to keep their hands in customer's pockets. I WANT THAT ORDER CANCELLED BECAUSE I DIDN'T MAKE IT!!!! Do NOT charge me another cent.

I never leave reviews but I just had too! My dog was so picky I was having to hand feed her. I was worried she was not eating and losing weight. Farmers Dog has changed my life. She loves her new food and even begs for more. I just wanted to say thank you!!!

My dog is a 1yr old mix breed, she loves the food gobbles it right up! Has had extra energy her coat is shiny! Worth the Money! Thank-you Farmers Dog!

My dog has always been a picky eater, and watching her not finish her meals was always made me worry. Since we switched to the Farmer's Dog a few months ago, she has finished every single one of her meals. I feel better feeding her a fresh, human-grade diet, and she has been able to gain some weight! Defrosting and storing the food is not a big deal at all, but beware of limited freezer storage space when you first get your shipment. I also thought it would be an inconvenience to travel with her food, but I used an insulated lunch bag and an ice pack and her food stayed completely frozen on a cross-country flight. An added bonus is that I can throw her medicine in there with her food, and she loves her food so much that she doesn't even notice the medicine! I literally recommend Farmer's Dog to every single one of my friends with dogs.

My dog loves this food. The day we opened the first package she could smell it from the other side of the kitchen and ran to me with her nose in the air to get a bite.

It looks like something I would eat! You can tell all the ingredients that are put in it are real and you know what your dog's are eating. It is pricey but as they say you get what you pay for. Only thing I would say I would want to change is the portion size my dogs eat more than that.
