Theater Seat StoreReviews of theaterseatstore.com

I highly recommend this company! I was very impressed with their customer service and communication, even with all the nonsense happening this year. The chairs that I bought were really good quality and exactly as advertised.

Sales people were very responsive and helpful. We received leather swatches very quickly. We would have appreciated a bit more follow-up regarding status of shipping of our order - we had to inquire about it when the expected timing of receipt was overdue. Customer Service was quick in replacing items that arrived damaged or missing, though. Our set of recliners are comfortable and look great - they work really well in our small space - we are very pleased with our purchase!

Our seats arrived quickly and we love them! One of the optional accessories we order arrived with a bit of damage, so I called them and spoke with customer service rep Chelsea Ortiz. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Chelsea only asked me for a photo of the damaged part and in no time had a replacement sent to me. That is how customer service should be done. We are very happy with our purchase!

I’m so happy to say that I received not only the best theaterseats but the service that is un matched.

Had a chat online and then spoke with the salesperson Rob. Got a decent deal on a package of chairs and received an emailed quote to confirm. Slept on it and did some research and then by the next afternoon tried to contact Rob to proceed with the order. I got his voice mail and decided to jump on the online chat. Spoke with Ian who could care less about me as a customer and making a sale, to say the least. He said what was quoted in the system is completely different than what I was telling him. I forwarded the email from Rob and he said he had to get manager's approval even though it was written in black and white. Ian comes back on the chat and tells me that the price was only good for yesterday! What kind of car sales technique is this???? Horrible customer service and a way to deliver a front end consumer experience. I asked to speak to the manager and was told "our manager does not deal with the public." Again, what kind of response is that?!?!? Bad customer service, bad tactics and even worse, loss of a customer and sale! BEWARE!!! Lies up front = red flags...

November Update: After a long wait and replacement seats delivered, I am updating my initial review as the seller has gone above and beyond to try to make it right. The seats are very good quality for the price, I would not even pay for the white glove service as they are very easy to setup as long as the shipping company handles the boxes with care and not stack them incorrectly... Worst online purchase experience ever.. Placed the order in June 2020 and paid the “white” glove service.. Order arrived in July 2020 (6 seats), they use 1 shipping company and a 2nd local one that delivers and assembled the chairs.. Several boxes arrived in pretty bad shape and one of the seats even had a tear on the side, two had broken internal frames. First thing to note is that for any issues with the delivery, you must accept the product and then manage the claim process with another customer service group. Well its been multiple emails and phone calls since delivery day and still no resolution to my damaged and malfunctioning parts (Yes, its almost 3 months!!!).. It’s a real shame because the price and product are actually very reasonable, but their courier and shipping is not up to par (I’m assuming this depends on where you live and the qty you purchase).. I strongly advise you read very carefully their return policy as they seem to acknowledge issues with shipping since they have a very clear procedure to follow when your order arrives all banged up; and even then they lack responsiveness and proper follow up. Aftermarket customer support has been unacceptable and poor...

Not only do I LOVE my theater chairs but the whole experience from placing my order with Rob and the delivery and service with Chelsea was beyond EXCEPTIONAL!! Highly recommend!!

I have a long story with happy ending here. Theater seat store provided the seats and carpet for my home theater. Compared the Canada market, their products are awesome and value for money, just one seat are damaged during the transportation. They assigned Chelsea to help me address the issue. With her diligent work and communication, we got a new replace soon! So glad I found the store for my basement renovation. Thanks TST, thanks Chelsea! Yan Montreal , Canada
