I understand it was very busy but there were too many mistakes made doing our meal. First of all they ren out of silverware so we were given platicware to use until they got some in. Our meals came and they forgot my husband’s meal, my granddaughter and son in law did not get their broccoli, when my husband’s food came they forgot his corn and also I sat through most of my meal waiting for butter on my potato which I did ask from butter to begin with. My daughter wound up going to get us silverware herself because my son in law broke two knives cutting his meat and she also got the hostess to get the food we were missing. Asked for boxes to go I had salad and food and she only brought me one box . I’m sorry but you don’t put hot food and cold food in the same container. You food was very good but the experience was very upsetting. Trying to have a nice family dinner together and it was ruined by the poor service.

rude and bodyshaming.
I was at Texas roadhouse today in hickory NC, USA i was with my husband and daughter we had just got our food and as we when we got our food the couple got done and ready to leave as they were leaving the woman struggled to get out of the booth and the manager and waitress started laughing at her making it very noticeable to everyone around them I went out to say sorry for how they treated the couple and they had mentioned they even left a 25% tip after that i went back in and overheard them talking about the size of the couple and they were saying other disrespectful things once me and my husband got done eating (we had the same waitress) we did not tip and just walked out of there after paying the disrespectful looks we got from the waitress who was not to mention slow and kept getting distracted by other waiters and waitresses gives me an ick and i will never be eating in that location again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD
Texas Roadhouse
3001 Old Boynton Road, Boynton Beach, FL
Server: Mike
Table 233/1
Date: 9/30/2023
We ordered a Ribeye for our friend (Celebrating his birthday) and a 8Oz. stake for my wife and I plus other things to go with that stake. We told Mike to please bring an extra plate as my wife and I were going to share our meal (She doesn't eat much meat). Another man brought our food to the table and no extra plate. I asked in kind that we needed an extra plate. He acknowledged our request and said he'll be right back. He disappeared and never showed up! In the mean time the stake we've got was more like a 5 Oz. stake rather than an 8 Oz. stake and after my wife removed the burnt fat from the end of the stake it look more like a 3 Oz. My wife and I felt totally cheated and highly offended. We are not the type of people that returns food to the kitchen. We are aware as to how offended cooks get and what they do to the new plate of food.
Later Mike our waiter finally showed up to ask how we were doing and once again I asked for the extra plate. He said he'll be right back and once again he disappeared and we never brought the extra plate. I ended up having to use a saucer plate to eat my meal. What is it with this restaurant we asked ourselves? Are we being punished for wanting to share a meal. After all our bill was $80.59 total. So is not that we were occupying a table for a $10 meal. Then at the end of the meal I happened to be the one paying the bill. I let Mike the waiter know I was disgusted about my experience at the restaurant. Despite the fact that our guess (Birthday friend) heard me complaint he must have felt bad for the guy and tipped Mike heftily with cash (Our friend is a giver). I did not feel he deserved to be tipped like that after the horrible service. Then I wasn't familiar with using the self payment method at the table so he set it up for me to pay the bill plus another 20% tip. I told him "my friend already tipped you, how do I remove the 20% tip" he just stood there and again no answer. I pay the full bill outs of embarrassment. Needless to say...
I WILL NEVER GO TO ANY OTHER TEXAS ROADHOUSE RESTAURANT AS LONG AS I LIVE.
Please advice your waiter Mike to learn to LISTEN AND ACT TO HIS CUSTOMERS REQUESTS. OTHERWISE QUIT AND FIND A DIFFERENT WAY TO MAKE A LIVING. As for me and our friends we will never go back. There are so many other great places where we have gone to have stake that offer great food and great services as it should be.

I have written the following letter….
I have written the following letter twice now and mailed to both the manager and the posted franchise owner, Mr. John Huffman. It has now been 3 months later and I have not even received an acknowledgement that my letter was even received!
It is with great sadness and disappointment that I write this letter to you and share my comments.
I am a regular customer of Texas Roadhouse and I must admit you are my all time favorite restaurant and I share gift certificates with all family members at Christmas time and for birthdays. Saturday I brought my family of four there to enjoy another anticipated great dining experience. However this was the first time that the dining experience, food and service was lackluster and disappointing for all of us. I feel there are opportunities for improvement, perhaps with training and procedures.
Upon ordering our drinks, we were told there were no Coors products available to serve, so we had to change our drink order.
Next after placing our steak selections, our plates arrived and all of our plates were handed to the wrong guests, which we all had to trade plates around the table. My steak was not even what I ordered and I had to wait until my server came back around so I could ask her what was on my plate. She did not know what I had been brought and she could not even identify it. She said I could eat it or she could take it back to the kitchen and start over with my plate. My other family members had already started eating and that meant either they would eat without me or theirs would be cold by the time I received the correct order. I ask her again what was my cut of meat and she said she didn’t know. She said you can try it and if you don’t like it, she would take it away. To try and coordinate all of our plates, I told her I would try to eat it. In the meantime, my son ordered another beer. No one ever come back with his second beer until I waved our waitress down and reminded her. I did my very best to enjoy my steak, but it was very tough and the little bit I did eat was very unimpressive.
This poor experience cost me near $200.
I hope you can understand my disappointment and use my comments to win my confidence back in your restaurant.
Best Regards,
John Shelton

We went to Texas Roadhouse for a…
We went to Texas Roadhouse for a birthday dinner with only a party of 6. We had the worst experience ever at a roadhouse. Steak was terrible, couldn’t get help to get A1 sauce to cover up the bad flavor. Couldn’t get refills. Had to call them on the phone from our table to get service. This was on Sunday September 24. The manager was a fill in and he was as bad as the steak.
