Recently bought sofa online on half price. After two days they cancelled my order and advised me to buy as a full price which is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. Not happy and will never buy again. There info was misleading that it's on offer and in stick. Not recommend

If I could I would give them no stars. Ordered from Tesco direct. Had email saying being delivered from partner 12th April and ten mins later saying 16th April. Telephoned to be told yes definitely 12th and the email said you have to sign for it because of the value. Took the day off work no delivery. Telephoned to be told actually it’s coming in the 16th. So had to take another day’s holiday telephone at half 9 to be told it would be delivered between 1-3 at half four I telephoned to fine out where it was to be told by a rude lady that is an all day delivery so could be up to 7pm. Guess what no delivery telephoned tescos and the lady said it had been carded and she would email to find out what happened. It was eventually delivered on the 17th not notifications to say it was coming they didn’t get back to tescos and I put in a claim for two lost day’s holiday pay and they have offered me £20.00 good will gesture which I sent them an email saying I was an insult as it didn’t even cover the telephone costs. To which I had to supply copies of my telephone bill which came to just under £19.00 not including the telephone call to Tesco and Tescos emailed me back to say that they think the £20.00 is reasonable. So there partner companies can treat their customers how they like and TESCO’s are basically happy with it, well they have lost my custom and I will be telling as many people as possible to avoid buying anything from them ever again

Bought an Xbox bundle from Tesco, one part of the bundle was missing. I found customer support, slow in replying BUT if you contact them on facebook the reply was almost instant. They had the problem resolved the same day.

Ordered a microwave on sale on 2nd April 2018. Five weeks later no microwave and having spoken with call centre only resolution they offered was for me to cancel, at no point were they apologetic and seem to accept they will not be able to meet all orders placed on sale items as they stated ‘we reserve the right to cancel over subscribed orders’. I explained by buying a sale item from them I lost out on other suppliers who were also competing for business by reducing their microwaves, it was originally £150.00 reduced to £89.00 so not cheap and a considerable saving. They stated they were waiting on the supplier who had not provided the stock so essentially they were selling items they did not have. The call center staff on my second call was very unhelpful, had no customer service skills, was rude and very patronising. Gone are the days when customers would ring call centers and be demanding, hopefully consumers have learnt this is no way to speak to each other but unfortunately call centre staff now appear to think it is ok to speak to customers like this. Poor, unacceptable and sorry Tesco but you won’t stay market leaders forever with this stack it high, sell it cheap customer service mentality. I most definately would never take a chance on you again.

Horrible. Never never again. Ordered item has been paid but received email few minutes after purchase has been confirmed that because of technical issuee they cancelling purchase and will get a refund...typically 3 to 5 working days????? W t F Never get shop in tesco direct again

I bought a microwave from here in September 2017 after having it for 6 months it stop working and because I had lost the receipt I cudnt exchange it .I had a flood at the time and everything was everywhere I am usually good with receips but they didn't want to listen so now I am without a microwave and to say I will not be buying nothing again from Tesco.

Serious word of warning for anybody using Tesco direct. Reasonable prices and good to be able to pickup at local store. However, if you have a problem with a broken or faulty product you are in S*** Creek. I bought a HP stream 14 £219 10 December 2017 order number 4PM39JJCD for my teenage son. The product is standard China shoddy standard (no more HPs for us) and has fallen apart in 4 months ten days. First port of call back to the pickup store; response nothing to do with us mate ring Tesco Direct. contact Tesco Direct palmed off to HP call centre Idrina Romania; send pictures = reply casing not covered by warranty. Next stop trading standards conclusion you paid Tesco direct so they totally responsible and have broken consumer law by palming you off to HP. Today recorded letter off to Tesco Direct for £219.00 plus compensation. my advice to everybody else steer clear of Tesco Direct. Also steer clear of China made HP products as they are total shy*e.

This is the 2nd consecutive time when Tesco failed to deliver my orders on the date of delivery for which I specifically paid delivery charges! The 2nd time, furthermore, I rescheduld the order for a Fri after they first botched-up. I toom the day off from work just for this. Again it didn't arrive. I was told it cannot arrive on Sat either. 10 days down the line I'm still waiting for my item to reach. The complaints team member who called me, Billy (id: KH57) was absolutely nonchalant about this and couldn't care less. He just informed that item can't be delivered, had no interest in resolving this and asked me to go to seek 3rd party intervention if I wanted any other resolution except just cancelling the order. Shame on you Tesco!
