Absolutely disgusted have had the same problem as a few of you have had on here, ordered a sofa at the end of March was due for delivery but lost one of the parts, waste of a day off. they eventually found it and arranged new delivery date to be told today that this dispute was going on. The lady advised me not to take the refund as they were so close to getting it sorted Now to be told after i had to call them again first that they will not be delivering any orders and that i should be due a refund, still have had no call back about my refund!!!!! we are now in JUNE!!!!

After nearly 3 months of waiting for a new sofa and armchairs that I've paid for but never received, it's become clear that either the manufacturer, courier and Tesco Direct themselves are colluding to obtain money from customers without actually making or delivering anything…. or that all three parties are completely and utterly incompetent. As well as being pleased that Tesco Direct is closing down, me and my family will never shop at any Tesco store or petrol station ever again. 20+ years of loyal custom - gone in a heartbeat.

After my experience with them I am not surprised that they are closing down. Although to be fair once I had cancelled my order they were pretty quick at refunding my money. My complaint involved the nondelivery as promised and my wasted day waiting in. But there is no point in going on about it as they will have stopped operating long before I would have looked to use them again.

Purchased a sofa and chair 8 weeks ago. Told the items would be ready in 4 weeks and would be delivered on 30th May. No communications from Tesco direct no updates kept phoning. Now told the company who make the furniture have ceased trading, however my sofa has been made and is in the warehouse, but the couriers are refusing to deliver because they will not be paid. Tesco will not approve another company to collect the sofa. Offered to pay for DPD to collective goods but this offer was refused. Asked if the goods would have a warranty now the company has ceased trading, told no but I would probably get my money back. Asked to speak with Ms Ashley Nichols the senior manager in charge but told she will not accept calls but would contact me within 24hrs. Is it any surprise that Tesco is closing this part of the business with such a totally useless senior manager who i’m told would probably not have a clue what’s going on. Still waiting for the call back. Tesco direct staff are not interested in solving my problem they said this part of the Tesco business will close on 9th July so they have no idea what will happen then. Told they would keep me informed each week. No surprise have now cancelled the order. IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED FURNITURE FROM TESCO DIRECT CHECK THAT YOUR WARRANTY IS STILL VALID IF NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW BECAUSE YOUR GOODS WILL NOT BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED, DOUBTFUL TESCO WILL EVEN COLLECT THE FURNITURE AS THERE IS NO WAREHOUSE OR COURIERS. Finally asked if I woul like to complete a customer survey

No wonder they're closing, shocking service. I've only just started shopping in Tesco again but that'll be stopping. Trustpilot should have zero scoring as that is what I would give this lot, they're dreadful.

Disgusting service! Ordered a sofa on the 24 th of April was told it would take a month to be delivered. This was fine, so sold my old sofa a few days before the delivery date. Me and my partner waited in all day no sofa! Rang up in the afternoon to be told my delivery has been put on hold! We obviously wasn’t happy about this but thought a few more days weren’t hurt. Then later on that evening I got an email to say my order has been cancelled!! So now my family have nothing to sit on. When I rung up to see what was going on they just said it’s been cancelled and that’s was that, they didn’t care about my situation at all and offered me a meesly £25 good Will gesture!! They have had my money for over a month and left me with no sofa and think it’s acceptable to just cancel on the day it was ment to be delivered!! Appalling service. I will never ever being using Tesco again. Absolutely disappointed.

Terrible experience ordering a child’s garden playground set. Firstly get email & text msgs confirming delivery day & asked to stay in 8-6 for delivery with no time window option which on a work day is far from ideal, item didn’t arrive, then get further messages & emails to do same following day - still no delivery. I’ve been calling customer service throughout and on 3 separate occasions and with 3 different tesco staff always told I’ll get a call back with info and call never returned. I’m then assured it will be the following day when again it doesn’t arrive. Even the tracking site / link had said out for delivery incorrectly. So had just about given up and item randomly arrived the following week. Prob more disappointing than the delayed delivery was the terrible communication and the constant promise of calls back via Tesco customer service which never came. Unacceptable levels of service.

Absolutely awful. Had a phone call to say my sofa would be delivered next day. Only to find that Tesco had a dispute with manufacturer and had put a hold on my order. No phone call to let me know. Couldn’t tell me what was going on or when I might get delivery. I requested a refund. When I left a comment on Tesco direct they said my comment did not meet their satisfaction so would not make it public.
