Tried to leave a review of a coffee table purchased from Tesco Direct, surprise, surprise, they refused to publish!!! We purchased a coffee table from TD and it arrived damaged. A further top was sent, this was also damaged, when they checked their stock, all were damaged!!! Why then send out damaged items, only if they think we are stupid enough to accept the item. We then had to return the table to a Tesco store, after being sent to the wrong store we finally managed to get rid of the table. They agreed a £10 compensation, but it barely covered my petrol.

I bought an item online from Tesco, their website was updated regularly with status of the delivery which was made to the store selected by me before the time promised. I received a text message and email confirming my parcel was ready for collection - Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Perfect service

Being as its the Christmas period, I felt obliged to give Tesco Direct a big thumbs up for their top notch delivery service. I ordered a very expensive item from them on Sunday evening to be informed it will be delivered before or on Christmas Eve. However, this morning I awoke to an email saying it was dispatched and on it's way to me this afternoon! Absolutely can't fault the service as I was updated the whole way through the dispatch process as to where the delivery driver was on his route and a rough ETA for my slot. And here it is, 2 days after order during possibly the busiest time for any and all couriers/postal services. So to you Tesco, and to you UKMail, I give a big two thumbs up and wish your colleagues a very merry Christmas!

I know it sounds dramatic but Tesco Direct are literally ruining my Christmas. I ordered 2 Ninetendo 3DS XLs for my children (Their Santa Claus present) and its been nothing but stress, extra moneyand long phone calls ever since. 1. I was told they'd been sent to the wrong store 2. then I was told one of the consoles were out of stock (even though they'd charged me £170 already!) 3. Then I arranged redelivery for the one they apparently did have (after 1 and a half hours on the phone to them and being treated quite badly by one member of staff) and paid for another one (in a different colour) to replace the out of stock one. 4. Then on the new day of collection I hear nothing, call them and find out that another one of my console's is out of stock (despite again having charged my card £170, wasting my afternoon the day before and promising me all would be ok with my order) 5. To cut a long story short! Ive now paid for 3 consoles ( approx £510) but will only receive one (if I'm lucky!). In the mean time they are out of stock in Tesco and in most stores in london and all my money is tied up in these orders. 6. The cherry on the cake is that they have told me one of their "partners" has stock available but I would need to pay again! I am not made of money and now have no confidence in anything they tell me. Im waiting to hear back. This is unacceptable level of customer service. I am fuming and so upset that I will have to tell my children that 'Santa' couldn't get this for them.

I paid for next day delivery on an item. Before ordering the site confirmed next day delivery and this was confirmed by e-mail. I then got an e-mail direct from the delivery company saying that delivery would be in two days time (i.e. next day delivery not honoured); no communication from Tesco. Very poor customer service. Unfortunately this seems to be common looking at the other reviews. Amazon in future. UPDATE: and then... the delivery company (Arrow XL) call to say that they can't deliver due to staff sickness... Tesco, have however refunded P&P.

Bought iPad Black Friday for raffle prize for a charity- iPad never received! Probably never sent! Promised if I bought iPad at full price in the shop - £50 more I would receive back the difference ! At this point out of pocket £189 and £239 My refund claim - rejected and no one really cared or told me that I'm out of pocket by £50 just before Christmas.. would never use Tesco direct again! Hey offered me a money card to spend in Tesco... what a con was promised on 6th December told today when I called.. manager unpleasant kept telling me basically to shut up and listen to her bull! Awful awful awful have to wait another 7-10 days probably for another rejected refund.. should be investigated!!! Here's my lame apology!! I searched on line and found that the Swan Teasmade was an item that tescodirect had on their website. I was pleased as it was cheaper than another retailer so I called and placed my order over the phone and had confirmation by email. It was a Christmas present for my wife so I was pleased to get that sorted!! About an hour later a further email came through stating they were unable to supply the item and it would be 3-5 working days before I received my money back. So hang on a minute! I purchase an item over the phone, get confirmation and the money taken from my account and THEN get a message saying sorry that's not the case, no item and we will refund your money in 3-5 days. To frustrate the situation further when I called Tescodirect they weren't helpful, no one with any authority was willing to speak with me. A real inconvenience, no purchase on it's way, just me £50 light for a few days whilst I wait for tescodirect to credit my account. In the meantime I'll have to pay again for the item elsewhere. Ordered icing bottles at midday with express delivery-next day delivery which I paid £7.95 for. They didnt arrived next day and got email from tesco not the same day Ive ordered but next day at 22:35 that my order was dispatched. Did call them, one of customer service said I have to call different one and they will give me refund for delivery charge. The next one left me wait for 17 min then hang up(so paid a lot of money for phone call again), after I explained my situation to 3rd of them he gave me a call back saying that they wont give me refund as it was ordered midday not morning?? Why than you dont write it online that it has to be ordered till certain time??? On my order sheet I printed off it says ..express delivery expected next day. Never order anything anymore
