This online care was completely misleading! I told the prescriber about my problem only to find out that they could not help whatsoever! Then after that, being the second time trying to communicate with this prescriber and the first time being charged for it even though I never got them on the phone with my tablet, iPhone 12 Pro, and brand new HP envy with one gigabyte per Second Internet speed they still charged me for THEIR inefficiency, then when I finally do meet with the prescriber for FIVE MINUTES, they expect me to pay $265 for it! Completely unbelievable! Then I dispute the charge for $240 of the $265 to be fair giving $25 to compensate five minutes of a prescribers time, that wasn’t good enough they wanted to dispute my credit card company which is still on going and I’m sure I will Inevitably win in the end, but I would never have fought it if this entire thing wasn’t misleading completely! If you are looking for anything further than talk therapy you are looking in the wrong place! And if you are looking for somewhere that would be honorable, honest, or fair when it comes to the financial aspect you are absolutely positively looking in the wrong place. I am going to copy and paste this review to every review website I can possibly find! Because people seeking genuine psychiatric care should never be treated this way or subjected to this kind of inefficiency and incompetency! It’s really pathetic!

DONT DO IT- PLZ READ So I signed up for one month, but they don’t accept my insurance (not accepting a major insurance company should be a red flag) so I immediately set my account up for “do not renew”-in case I didn’t like it/can’t afford to continue out of pocket. They guarantee two responses a day/5 days a week. I wasn’t getting that, so I brought it up to customer service. I let them know that my provider is helping, however I would appreciate getting the amount of responses that I was guaranteed upon signing up. I asked for a free month credit to use next month, to make up for all of the times I didn’t get the guaranteed number of responses. This may seem like it was a stretch but a good business would hear me out. Long story short, they said no because I was set to “do not renew”, wouldn’t give me a helpful answer as to why that mattered, and offered me a $50 refund as incentive to continue the service. I opted for the refund, and the customer service representative immediately cancelled my subscription- when I had two days left and was waiting for an exit response from my therapist with helpful tips, strategies, and affirmations. The customer service person did NOT tell me a refund = cancelling the subscription as well! I fought back, and I just kept getting the same answers each time, telling me the policies but not explaining them at all and seemingly going against what they had previously said. I told them it is completely insensitive to think they can randomly cancel my subscription and not allow me closure with the therapist, whether I was satisfied with the number of responses or not! I only had two days left of my subscription, and I had told them very personal information! Now I literally can’t get closure! As a business, they are cruel. They are insensitive to the needs of individuals seeking therapy. The customer support does not help, and they are VERY stubborn! I feel so ignored by and disgusted with Talkspace. They are all about money and take advantage of people. Also, the therapists are underpaid and overworked. No wonder they couldn’t respond to me like they are supposed to. I am so embarrassed that I allowed myself to get swindled by this company, as there seemed to be positive reviews on their website. Well I learned my lesson. Customer service is everything, and these people are just cruel!

I started Talkspace in July, and I really loved my therapist and wanted to continue. I called my insurance and they said they would cover at 100%, they just needed a bill from Talkspace to start the reimbursement process. I looked for a number I could call, and other than an emergency hotline, there was nothing. I opened several tickets with them, the third of which was basically begging them to send me a bill (which they call a super-bill) and all they ever responded with was an automated message asking for information I provided three times. For a platform that cites the fact that they take insurance as an advantage, this is beyond disappointing. Unfortunately, I will have to cancel my subscription after this month because I can't afford to pay out of pocket anymore. It's really a shame that the people at Talkspace can't get it together.

I would give Talkspace zero stars if I could. I haven't done therapy for 6 months but all of a sudden now they have charged my card for 207 dollars after insurance said they would cover it- this is fraud. I got no notice no bill or anything from Talkspace or the insurance company about the denial of coverage. I am working to get the money back but for now, I am blocking them through my bank so they can no longer take my money. This is a shady, bad business--stay away!

First therapist didn't respond. Second one was a little better but one of her replies was copy and pasted mindfulness tips, which annoyed me greatly as mindfulness was not something of use to me in my situation. I completed progress assessments but these weren't discussed at all, even when the assessment showed my situation as getting worse. I didn't contact my therapist for around 3 weeks as I wasn't finding it useful and there was no contact from her to check if I was having problems. She finally got in touch and said she had contacted me several times (she hadn't). Time zone difference created problems as I am in the UK and therapist is in the US. I never used my video call credits as I was not sure how to book and therapist never advised how. All in all Talkspace is very expensive for sub par service.

If there was a Zero Star I would leave it. I had high hopes for Talkspace. What a great concept. They took my money and provided me with all the wrong matches based on the profile I filled out with my needs. It is expensive with zero value and you can't get ahold of a customer service person. Stay away.

Signed up and paid on a Friday. Didn't receive a reply until Monday because they do not operate on weekends. Our therapist selected denied service due to high work load. Selected second therapist and never responded. 1st introductory session with the therapist not available for a week. Tried to cancel and talkspace is only giving a prorated refund, charging us for weekend days and services never rendered. Avoid this platform they are scammers.

Horrible service They only get one star…mostly because you have to pick one. They don’t deserve any stars. Like a lot of other people on here. I have issues ide like to work through and get some insight or closure to. I had 2 counselors. Both of them were horrible. The first one only wanted me to watch videos of a “professional “. Who was a quack in my opinion. She was cold , distant, and gave no feed back at all. The second was was a little mouse. She had this squeeky little voice..this one was passive aggressive and when I pushed for a response I didn’t get any..I ended up deleting the ap from my phone. I was looking for help..instead I found myself sitting and crying for several days in a row. This is not what is supposed to happen.
