I have been using talkiatry for 6 months, it was going well at first, affordable, meds worked. Then my psychologist left to go back to in person therapy. The new therapist is outside of my network. Meaning my insurance does not cover it. You'd think it'd be their job to assign you someone within your network but I guess they're too incompetent. They've given me a $500 bill I cannot afford and more suicidal thoughts and tendencies before. So thanks for the crappy service talkiatry.

Take these bad reviews with a grain of salt. the people who write reviews typically are the people who have bad experiences; you hear almost nothing about the good ones. I never had a billing issue, never got hassled, I had a very simple conversation up front about my health insurance plan to be sure it was covered. It's always been correct... I had 3 bad doctors before using Talkietry. Right away, I did research, found a doctor with good reviews, and now it's been a great experience. He happens to be on Talkietry. The app works, never had the video break, he's always on time, scheduling is a breeze. The patient portal is simple, sending messages - easy. My doctor replies right away, he sends scripts promptly and more importantly CORRECTLY. I had like one issue and he fixed it in like 4 hours. Advice: do your research on the DOCTOR, not the platform. The platform works just fine, pretty good actually. Before you go to your appointment, make sure your insurance company covers it. That's it.

I talked to a doctor for 3 minutes he told he does not complete paperwork needed for a medical leave of absence. That was the end of the session they sent my insurance a bill for $160.00 and has been harassing me for the copay of $20.00 for the last several months. I will absolutely not be paying the $20.00

Loved my therapist but then my insurance quit covering talkiatry. I'm guessing too many complaints. Why 1 star? Customer service, billing, and communication issues. When my insurance changed I tired to confirm if they still took BCBS. Every time I talk to someone it's a different story. I've sent my insurance cards 3 times now. Then I get another email asking for my card again. Billing issue: when I first started using them last year it took them mos to get my ins straightened out and they kept trying to bill me an outrageous amount. Biggest issue, it is impossible to speak to anyone at this company that knows anything. OHHH and, my provider was out of state so I had ongoing issues with walgreens refusing to fill my script from an out of state provider. Huge issue!

I was given an appointment but then they cancelled without rescheduling me. Then they rescheduled me with someone else after I called but cancelled the appointment again due to Dr. not licensed in my area although they had my address on file. I sent an email trying to see who I can talk to but no response .

My Psychiatrist Dr Kevin DiCesare was working at an office in New Hampshire. I was devastated when he left! I saw someone else at the same place, but she wasn’t him. That was back in 2017, He wasn’t sure if was going to do something different. Well every month I googled his name and I was thrilled to find him at Talkiatry! Dr DiCesare is the most caring, wonderful, Doctor you could ever have! His personality is outstanding! He makes you so comfortable, I never feel rushed, I can tell him thinks that are so personal! He will get you on the proper medication The on line visits that Talkiatry offer are great. If you are in need of a Psychiatrist, I highly recommend the best Doctor and a wonderful person,Dr Kevin DiCesare at Talkiatry!! Thank you Colleen Falzone

Updated: The therapist has been great to work with. Initially had some billing issues, but they were resolved after following up with Talkiatry.

Total scam. I was supposed to have an appointment with Jason Kudurogianis, I had to wait a month to get an appointment. Two hours before my appointment I get an email saying my appointment was cancelled, no reasons given, no alternate times for make up appointment given. I had to call them up only for them to tell me the doctor cancelled all his appointments on the day because they had internet issues. And that the next available appointment time will be in ANOTHER MONTH. This is the kind of service you will get from Talkiatry.com. Zero concern, zero consideration for patient care. Absolutely ludicrous that they are offering mental health services and then decide that they can just abandon patients at the drop of a hat.
