There was no point as during each session it felt like both of us were just watching the clock to end. Than I cancel a session and get a $105 bill that evening. I have insurance coverage by Kiser Permanente and was still charged this much. So now I have ZERO trust for this platform and therapy in general.

They will over charge you and keep sending you bills even when you’re paid up. They tried to say I was out of network when I wasn’t and tried to charge me the full price. They will bill you all at once and cancel/hold your therapy session if it isn’t paid in full. After a couple back and forths with my insurance company and their billing department to determine, I was indeed in network the whole time, they continued to send me bills trying to charge me for sessions I already paid for. Even now, almost a year since stopping with them, they are all a sudden sending me more bills. Do not recommend. They’re horrible, just check out all the other reviews and the better business bureau site if you don’t believe me.

I love my therapist, she is absolutely incredible and I've been seeing her for almost a year now. But, SonderMind is the absolute worse company to do this through. They continue to charge me multiple times in a single day even though I only see my therapist once a week. If I see my therapist once a week, then why am I getting charged for 3-4 sessions 3 times a month???????? It literally makes no sense and I've had ENOUGH. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm currently on the phone, waiting to talk to someone as I am typing this out. Wait time is 10 minutes.

Useless as tits on a boar. I threw away $360 on three sessions. My counselor canceled the next session. We scheduled another session but he thought I had changed counselors. Complete waste of time and money.

This is September 7th, I have received 10 emails in the past 5 days from their billing department with conflicting/opposite information regarding insurance and payments... Upcoming charges for appointments several months ago that were 100% covered by insurance, emails that a payment has failed, then apparently they magically found my card two minutes later and my account is active again, just a flurry of bizarre, probably automated emails with no input from me. They have had my current insurance and payment cards for months, and apparently they are just now getting around to billing for appointments several months ago. I called to get a human to sort out anything that they may need from me, but instead after waiting for a half hour I reached a rude representative who didn't seem to care or understand my concern and just kept asking me how she could help me without acknowledging the various emails or even checking my account to investigate for herself. It is several hours later and I am still waiting for the promised call back from her supervisor.

I am 58 years old and only tried therapy once in my life and could not stand it. I was in a crisis and decided to try to find online therapy and I am so glad I lucked out and found the therapist that I did. My therapist through sondermind is amazing I just can't say anything better about her. She's patient she understands what people can deal with talking with and is just incredible. I have been speaking with her for 3 months now and I look forward to my talks with her. I don't know what everybody else is going through but I just got lucky I think and found the greatest therapist. I'm sorry anybody else has had any problems I do have technical difficulties with the site a lot I don't know why I end up on my phone through the session. All in all it's been so worth

Complaint Letter Submitted to Sondermind Superviser at Sondermind Subject: Complaint Regarding Breach of Confidentiality and Unprofessional Conduct To whom it may concern, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring a serious matter to your attention concerning the conduct of one of your therapists. I am a patient at Sondermind Therapy and recently received my first therapy session. In the course of our first session, I briefly explained to the therapist I had been a childhood victim of abuse by the hand of a family member some 40+ years ago. For the sake of explanation, this person has not been a part of my life for over 35 years, and neither have I seen or spoken with them in all these years. I know nothing about this person’s life, or even if they’re dead or alive. In fact, I only learned of this abuse 10 years ago when I began to have memories and flashbacks and then confided in my sister who shared she had the same experience. I have confided in many therapists over the years, and all of them have assured me there was absolutely no reason to report these past events unless I knew a child was in imminent danger or if I was still in imminent danger, which I am not. I am deeply disturbed by the recent actions of the therapist and her complete ignorance of reporting and confidentiality laws for her profession, and am now taking necessary action to seek your intervention. On Wednesday, July 27, 2023, during one my therapy session with the therapist, she breached my confidentiality by reporting sexual abuse that occurred 40 years ago to the police without seeking my consent or permission. As a result of her actions, the police showed up at my home, causing immense stress and re-traumatization for me and my children (who previously had no knowledge of my past trauma), who were present at the time, and who were startled and distressed by the sudden and unexpected visit from the authorities. The breach of confidentiality by the therapist has left me feeling violated, betrayed, and unable to trust the therapeutic process. Her actions have not only negatively impacted my mental well-being, (I cannot sleep, eat, am again having flashbacks and nightmares, and am deeply depressed) but also disrupted the sense of security and privacy within my family. **RESULT: Sondermind has done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation, despite numerous requests for a refund for the session (it’s the least I can hope for)…instead they denied my meager request, stating my session was ‘medically necessary’ Some of the therapists are very good, but I will never give another penny to this company. They are grossly negligent, irresponsible, dishonest, and do not care for their clients in the least. Stay away from Sondermind!!!

They’re billing wasnt straight forward and I got charged months and months later after sessions I had already paid for. Getting in touch with them is very difficult. They made anxiety more worse.
