In my best opinion, this company is an insurance fraudster AND they refuse to take your billing information off their site. I have had insurance co-payment charges "appear" on my credit card for sessions already paid a YEAR AFTER I NO LONGER USED THEIR SERVICES. It was necessary for me to file an insurance fraud complaint with the state Attorney General's Office in the state where the sessions took place in the hopes of getting to get them to stop the practice. BEWARE of this company and their insurance billing practices. I believe them to be VERY SHADY and VERY UNETHICAL. Run far far away.

I reached out to Sondermind on the phone to let them know my needs. They told me to fill out the needs on a form online. I did but the questions did not address my needs. I started getting recommended counselors to which none were a match. I contacted them 3 times and they never responded but just quit emailing. Very disappointing. I am really struggling with grief of losing my son and really need help. This just added to the pain of not getting the help I so desperately need.

I am a therapist with Sondermind. Your video works 50% of the time at best which is very disrespectful to the clients and the therapist. Their support people are condescending and not helpful and many times when you email them they don’t even email you back. There are other problems with the Sondermind platform from the therapist side which waste a lot of your time and which often don’t work. I have had many clients complain that they have had billing issues and that Sondermind was not helpful with that. I would choose another company for your therapist

Unprofessional therapist, and this is coming from a psych NP. Not sure how this company qualifies their employees. Look elsewhere

This is the worst company I have ever worked with for therapy. First off, my therapist was 15 minutes late to my third session and the first two she took while driving. She asked to cut my second one 30 minutes short because she didn’t feel well which I was understanding about. I wound up cancelling my services with her because I was fed up with her and was willing to try another one until I received charges pending on my account. I went through Cigna EAP, called and got authorization codes, and did everything I was told to do to have my claim filed and billed on time. I still wound up owing money and asked to be set up on a payment plan which ended up pulling the full amount. Now I have been hit with an additional amount due that was never brought to my attention. All I will say is find therapy elsewhere because it’s not worth it for the billing alone. Also, I don’t feel as though their questionnaire matches you with the best fit.

I used Sondermind for 3 tele-heath visits in October of 2021. I found the entire experience to be lacking. The phone app does not save your login information so each time I logged in, there was this extra step. This is very frustrating when running a bit behind and annoying every time. Their password requirements include the extra characters and specifics that may keep your account secure but really, who is logging into my tele-therapy platform and having therapy without my knowledge? The video quality was shaky and unreliable. It cut out multiple times. Skype or Zoom in comparison are much more reliable in my experience. Reaching out to customer service took 3 attempts over multiple days with no resolve offered. I missed a therapy appointment on a very rough week because of this. I feel this platform is a hindrance to my therapy not an aid.
