Solace advocates seem to place more…
Solace advocates seem to place more importance on finding whichever provider is available immediately rather than researching to find the best/most appropriate/experienced doctor. I have wasted nearly 6 months with Solace advocates and have made absolutely no progress, with any of my complex health issues. They dangle carrots of hope to keep you under their wings, charging Medicare for… no services rendered. I have done far more research and made more phone calls than any of the “experienced”: hospital administrators, case managers, acute care nurses, end of life (I’m only 58?) carers, social workers, yadda yadda. Not only are they out of state and therefore unable to navigate my state’s byzantine healthcare systems, they are not at all experienced with psychiatry or neurodiversity, medical trauma (although they are happy to provide more), ehlers-danlos (which has a trio of comorbidities) and other complex issues (neurological, cardiological, opthomological, and on and on) despite saying so in their bios. I knew people lied on resumes, but healthcare workers ought to face the loss of their license for misleading prospective patients. They are really good at making you think they have your back, when they clearly do not. My last email from my last advocate could not have been more condescending, yet when I wrote Solace to complain, I got no response. That was 10 days ago. I have been trying to get my records from them for over a month, was told I would, but am still waiting. I don’t know how they find and vet their employees, but they must do better. Reply: nice spin. Sending formatted emails with check boxes to convey my satisfaction is not reaching out. Nor is the formatted response “we have received your message…”. I have exactly one email, unsigned, that laid out steps you were going to take, but you never did take those steps to address those issues, did you? No, you ghosted me.
Response from Solace HealthFeb 6, 2026
Thank you for your review, Elizabeth, we're so sorry to hear that your experience using Solace has been disappointing. We want to clarify that our team has looked into this issue and we can see that several attempts have been made to reschedule your appointments and our team has reached out to you to discuss the instances that led up to your most recent advocates lack of response. Regardless, we sincerely apologize that we have not been able to help you in the way that our advocates are trained to, as our goal is always to make life easier for our patients. We hope that you'll give us another chance if able.
