While Smalls is nutritionally complete for "all life stages"—including kittens—we understand that some kittens can be a bit more selective or have smaller appetites. Because our food is so nutrient-dense, the volume they need to eat can sometimes look smaller, but if they aren't hitting their daily goals, it’s always right to prioritize their growth. Sometimes, kittens do find the texture of fresh food more appealing as they get a little older and their "adult" tastes develop. We would love to be a part of her bowl again once she’s a bit more grown 😸

It’s frustrating enough when your cats refuse a new food after you’ve put in the effort to warm it up and try different flavors, but feeling dismissed is never an experience we want for our customers. Our food is packed with dry ice and scheduled with specific shipping partners to ensure it stays frozen during transit. Because of this logistics chain, we have a cutoff of 8 PM EST on the Thursday before an order ships. Once that deadline passes, the order is sent to our warehouse, and we are physically unable to stop the shipment or refund the perishable contents. Because Smalls is a subscription-based service, the system is designed to automatically send a full-sized box two weeks after the Sampler. We try to make this clear at checkout and in our "Heads Up" emails, but we recognize that if a customer misses those notifications, the second charge feels unauthorized and sudden.
