The Smalls trial package is INSANELY huge and offers a wide variety. It comes packaged as professionally as human food, just as any subscription to Hello Fresh or another meal subscription would for people. I'll admit my kitties are not wild about the food, but as one has a tendency to overeat, I think this has been good for her. She seems to have leveled out her eating patterns and stopped eating out of boredom. The nutritional value of Smalls is what had me pursue them in the first place. The wet food packaging is horrendous. I agree with all the other reviewers that it is impossible to open unless using scissors or simply tearing apart with wild anger. The reusable tupperware type of container they provided with the starter kit was a nice touch, though that is also clunky. Ultimately, the packaging is enough to turn me off to using anymore of their wet food. To anyone who has only dabbled in Smalls and their food, let me please urge you to try out their LITTER. It is the best litter I have ever used. They are not advertising this properly. Best. Litter. Ever. I like that they remind you your order is about to be shipped in x number of days, so I have time to adjust it, or delay it, and the product is good, and they are interactive on social media and responsive to their customers. A good business.

Customer services is amazing! You guys know how important our cats are to us :) Our furry babies LOVE Smalls food so much! They scarf it down right away. So we know it’s good stuff! The only thing is we’ve received 2 shipments thus far and it’s so tough to open the wrap. The peel back never opens so we always have to cut the bag up. If there is an easier way to open or different vessel, let us know. Other than that- SO EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH SMALLS :)

Amazing customer support.

The food that Smalls makes is extremely high quality. I immediately noticed an improvement in my cats' coats, energy and litter box. Not to mention customer service was extremely helpful in creating my personalized order for my cats. I will say, the packaging for the wet foot does not open as designed and it is a bit frustrating considering you pay a premium for the food. A simple redesign of the wet food packaging to be resealable would bring my review from a 4 to a 5. UPDATE: They have mixed up the packaging so some comes in tubes like a sausage. This is a little easier to portion but I hate having to dirty a cutting board and serrated knife every time I feed my cats. I would challenge them to keep looking for easier-to-use packaging. There has to be something better!

While it took a while for my cat to adjust to the new freeze dried food, she has ended up loving it. Of course she goes nuts for the mince and pate. That was a given. Right now she eats a combination of either freeze dried or simply cooked kibble in the morning and then pate/mince at lunch and dinner time. It's the right amount of calories for her and I feel comfortable with the nutrition.

staff is super helpful and friendly, making it easy to get my Smalls delivery. Kitty finally is eating her Smalls and I feel so much better about feeding her this healthy alternative! It took a little coaxing and mixing to get her to enjoy but her breath is better and I am sure this will affect her positively over the long-term

I love the fresh ingredients and wish my kittens would eat it. I have tried to add in their wet food with Smalls, but they refuse to eat it.

My cat likes the dry kibble, but I'm still having trouble transitioning him to the wet food. Hoping that maybe adding bonito flakes or something will help?
