TWICE the box of food was delivered without dry ice. Everything thawed before it arrived and I had to throw it all out. I am ALREADY horrified at the individual plastic packaging that is not recyclable and that they refuse to address by using biodegradable packaging. Did my cats like it? Sure, but I have to combine it with another type of food to get them to eat it. I would say the environmental impact alone is a reason not to get started with them.

Food arrived warm, company then only issued partial refund, claiming only fresh food portion was refundable, company also automatically sets up subscription, but DOES NOT make it clear when you purchase a sample.

My rescue senior (14 years old) cat has many digestive issues. Her daily vomiting is now once or twice per week. She seems to love the food with a little added water and 5 seconds in the microwave. I have noticed she is also eating less frantically and cleaning her plate each meal. Thank you for making this food available!

My order was delivered to an address I moved from 8 years ago. I have no idea how that address was added in my account. You cannot get a hold of anyone there immediately. The food is frozen, so I won't be able to use it even if I was able to get it. The address is 30 miles from my home now. I'm most upset that it will probably take a day or two to talk to someone. Smalls has contacted me. They are sending me a replacement and keeping me updated. Thank you.

We completely understand your frustration and upset, especially given the perishable nature of the food and the difficulty in reaching someone immediately. That is absolutely not the experience we want you to have. It sounds like a very common issue that can occur when using digital payment methods like Apple Pay. These services often save default shipping addresses directly within their own settings, and sometimes an older address can be auto-selected or remain as the primary one, even if you've updated it elsewhere. We have ensured a complimentary replacement is being processed on our end. We hope your kitty enjoys the food!

Good luck canceling a subscription. They will reactivate your account without your permission and immediately charge you for an order just to never even receive a package. I contacted customer support and they told me they wouldn't offer me a refund. I was charged almost $200 and never received anything from them. I had to cancel my credit card and dispute the charge. I will not pay for something I never received.

That is definitely not how we want our customers to feel. We want to clarify our process: when a Sampler is purchased, it does initiate a subscription that automatically renews. This is communicated during the checkout process and in follow-up emails. However, we absolutely do not reactivate accounts without a customer's permission once a subscription has been canceled. If an account becomes active again, it would be due to a new purchase or an explicit request to reactivate. We are truly sorry for the distress this has caused and for the need to dispute the charge.
