The beast clipper works well enough, but is not water resistant, so cannot easily be cleaned. My main problems started when I lost my charging cable. I have been in touch with customer service several times. At first they directed me to their US page (which doesn't have the right charger - I'm in the UK). When I corrected them, they simply linked me to a product which is out of stock. It is mid-January and this has been out of stock since at least November. They clearly have no intention of looking after their existing customers.

Shaver works well when actually working. Costumer service is beyond slow and completely dismissive. I bought a replacement blade and it literally fell apart after less than a week. The response from skullshaver?? "It's a consumable item". Am I supposed to buy a new one every week at £30??? Shocking. They are a load of scammers and have no idea what costumer service means or how long a "consumable" product should last. I am completely dismayed.

Haven't had any problems with the shaver even though I only use it in the shower. Easy to clean. Would recommend.

Battery died in 8 months. Charged fully, runs out in a minute or 2. Shame, quality control ruining an otherwise important piece of kit for me.

Don't bother. Purchased the platinum shaver and got maybe 2 months of use out of it. They say it's water proof and can be used in the shower, but it's not. As soon as it get humid the on/off button stops working properly. The shaver would turn on during the middle of the night and then because the button was not working the only way to turn it off was to let the battery run flat and keep it outside so it doesn't keep you awake. Also the customer service was terrible. After getting a replacement electronic head for the shaver the blades didn't work. They then said that the blades are designed in a way so they block up and then they will make you buy another set because they are "consumeable" at $59 to get replacement blades every 3 months, you do the math and see if it's worth it. This review is for especially for Morgan & Kevin from the customer support team.

I have had two of these things now. They both stopped working a little over a year after purchase. Won't start. It is not because of the blades. The company's attitude to helping me, being just slightly out of warranty, is completely dismissive.

Terrible product. Does not shave hairs well. You have to repeat and repeat the same area (on already shaven head, so I’m talking 10 days growth). Battery power is non existent - recharging half way through a clip. I sent first product back because I thought their was a fault with the battery but the replacement is exactly the same
