Dealing with this company is a nightmare,do not touch them with a barge pole.I recently purchased a Pitbull Gold,all was well until the first recharge.It was soon dying after 2 to 3 uses and the battery was going from 80% to zero overnight. I contacted the company and sent back the faulty battery,a new one was sent but it was missing the gear shaft,which apparently I should have removed. I am now left with the battery/motor unit,the blades but no gear shaft.It is like owning a car without a gearbox,completely useless. Email exchanges have convinced me they just do not care. I intend to seek redress in the small claims court,but this is something,suffering as I do with multiple health conditions I do not need. Please,please give this company a very wide berth,I expected better from a US based company,bitterly disappointed.

I really think the pitbull skull shave silver pro is amazing little machine, mine only last for 20min on a full charge is that normal or can I buy a different battery to last longer. I have only had it just over a week my or number is Order #EU70445 confirmed. I have been on the Facebook page and alot of people have said it not normal.

Terrible experience with the product and their customer (dis)service department! I have to admit I did not do a thorough enough job researching shavers and probably trusted too much their paid commercials - never again! As I was trying to get the best shaver out there I ordered their most expensive Platinum model. Being unsatisfied by the shaver performance after using it for a couple of weeks I contacted Skullshaver's Support asking what I am doing wrong. Their answer was my hair must be too thick and they recommend replacing the Baron blade shipped with the shaver with a Carver blade. They did not offer replacement, just suggested purchasing a new blade. The Carver blade did a little better job, but still far from perfect. And after using the shaver for only two and half months it completely broke down and would not even turn on. They refused an RMA for a full refund and only agreed to an RMA replacing the broken handle. They also refused sending a prepaid shipping label and promised sending a replacement within 72 hours form the time they receive my defective device. As of today, 216(!) hours after receiving it the status of my replacement shipment still is "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item". As I mentioned earlier - this is one of the most frustrating experiences i ever had with a Made in the USA product and their USA based (dis)service department.

Poor experience, does not cut close as promised unless you go over same area a large number of times, even then it does not provide a very even cut. Could also feel how it was pulling at hair. I have had a very close shave cut sometimes with razor for a number of years and thought this product was going to be a time save but it has been useless. I have gone back to using my philishave three bladed shaver which is designed for facial hair but does a better job by miles on my head compared to the skull shaver. Cleaning was a pain in the backside, I found I was cleaning the blades and shaver 2-3 times each shave to try and keep the product working well. Tried to get the hang of it for two to three months, two cuts per week but it did not get any better. I would stay clear of this product and spend your money somewhere else.

Great at first, but then - as so many on this site have noted - it stops working. To make things worse Skull Shaver customer service is atrocious. I have now sent back three faulty parts (they do not refund or compensate for the time this takes) only to be sent the wrong part, or a part that doesn't work or fit with the original parts. Terrible!

Don't be fooled by their advertising onslaught!! The Beast Clipper (awful name) is very poorly made in china using low quality parts - the rechargeable battery is rubbish... (enough buyers are saying this so it's not a one off). 'Just'£59.99 - ha ha ha - it's not worth £9.99. To cap it all the company who sell the 'Skull Shaver' are mediocre to bad. AVOID!!

Beast Clipper, great when it worked.. died after the 2nd time i charged it, now totLly dead wont turn on or charge!

Bought one of these Silver shavers about 9 months ago. The good bit was that they replaced the battery as it would not hold the charge. This was although I had to pay the $35.00 freight from NZ to return it to AUS. Now one of the rotors is not working in the shaving head. I am not returning this at my cost. I have bought a different type at a fifth of the price on Ebay. It shaves my head perfectly. I will never purchase Skull Shaver again.
