My daughter signed up thinking it was weekly payment, which she can afford. Four weeks payment was deducted direct from her bank account, not weekly as site implies. There goes all her living expenses funds for the week. Can’t trust a site that starts out with dishonesty and money grabbing. Also site doesn’t specify that payment is in US dollars which is problematic. Financially flawed and opportunistic app

I have picked and scratched at blemishes on my face and arms since I was in my teens. Through the program and the therapist, I have learned why and strategies to help control this behavior. My face is looking so clear that many times I leave the house without any coverup or foundation.

I was actually quite impressed with this program, and I was very doubtful to begin with. As everyone with this problem knows, it feels LITERALLY impossible to reduce or even stop picking. Like the idea of having even an ounce of control is just impossible. While this program isn’t a magic cure for skin picking, it gives you a lot of valuable information in a very structured way. It also forces you to actually apply the tools you’ve learned and reflect on your experiences. So many times I’ve googled “how to stop skin picking” and read about some methods, but never held myself accountable to actually try them and never had anyone knowledgable to ask questions to. This program gives you accountability and someone to talk to. My therapist was absolutely wonderful; she answered all my questions, and even when I would go off topic she would give me some sage advice. I actually screenshotted a bunch of the messages she sent me because I found them so valuable! She was also just a lovely presence in my life as I worked through this program and had to process some tough things and own up to my problems. Skin picking is the most isolating thing I have ever experienced; I feel completely alien to everyone around me. While I still feel isolated in some ways, having someone to message who understands and is knowledgable and empathetic is a relief beyond words. I am still a skin picker at the moment, but I see improvements in myself and know that I will continue to improve if I keep using the tools I have learned.

I had no idea something like existed and it was brilliant for my needs. My skin picking condition is relatively minor, but I wanted to put some attention on it. I would not have put the time and expense into in-person therapy, so I decided to give this affordable option a try. In fact, I think it turned out to be way better than trying to find an in-person local therapist! They have obviously put a lot of thought and experience into the program that specializes in this condition, and there were many helpful techniques I am now putting into practice. I was also able to share ideas with my young son who already has picking habits. The online support from my dedicated therapist was thorough and helpful. I would definitely recommend this program whether your case is severe or mild!

This program is great!! I've found it very helpful and have walked around in public for the past 2 weeks without any makeup on my face (to cover any picking marks) which I never thought I would be able to do! I didn't even complete the full 8 sessions because I'm still pulling myself together in other areas and I was moving through the program really slow so the cost was adding up. The only downside was that I tried to get a bill statement to try to submit part of it to my insurance/my HRA and that has been a headache!! They do not seem to have an official billing statement so neither my insurance or HRA wants to accept the bill statement (which I had to request because you can't get it from your account) as it just looks like a PayPal receipt. It has been a challenge getting someone to respond much less respond in a timely manner. I couldn't get the app to work and after emailing back and forth with someone from the program just gave up on that aspect of the program and just focused on the sessions. Other than the communication issues, which felt like pulling teeth/made me want to repeatedly hit my head into a wall, I really, really like the program and found it very helpful! I would still recommend them but also hope they organize their customer assistance a bit better and provide a customer assistance phone number.

This program was a great way to start handling picking compulsions. The therapist I had was very thoughtful and helped me through a lot of tough situations. The lessons themselves were very useful, I found. This program is nice because you can go at your own pace without overbearing pressure. For me, this program didn't completely "heal" my compulsions, but rather set me on the right track for the future. Nonetheless the program itself was very neatly laid out and the therapist I had was extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone who needs a push in the right direction.

This program is brilliant. I loved the system of communicating with my therapist through comments, and she was extremely responsive, supportive and insightful. The module content is comprehensive and examines different perspectives of skin picking, i.e. it encourages you to find practical strategies to help you stop, but also to train your thoughts and emotions so that you can stop permanently, and the physical barriers you put in place can be only temporary. I have picked my skin for 35 years and used to pick pretty much all the time. My skin picking behaviour started to reduce after the first four weeks and although I haven't been able to stop completely, I feel confident that I will be able to in the future. I have reduced both the behaviour and the urges, and now have great strategies in place to reduce it further. The only drawback to this program is it's not possible to complete the 8 modules in one month, i.e. one payment - you have to pay at least twice to complete the program. However, the expense helped keep me accountable. I would recommend this program to anyone who is truly ready and willing to change. You have to put the work in and make a real commitment to see results.

After struggling with skin picking for 30 years, I finally decided to try this program. The full program lasted 8 weeks and was easy to adapt to my schedule. My therapist was super helpful and most of the program was having me answer questions and try different techniques. I found it to be extremely helpful. In the first week of the program, I was picking almost every day. By the end I only had one urge in a week. I am so glad I did this program, not just to help with skin picking, but also it helped me learn and grow as a person. I learned so much in this program and it really helped me to gain insight, awareness, and wisdom around picking. I feel much more comfortable, confident, and I feel like I did the right thing by investing in my own self-care and well being. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with skin picking.
