I had an excellent conversation with Divya.
We were able to deep dive into my test questions and have a good chat about the importance of accessible testing options like SiPhox. It is difficult in our medical system here in America to get thorough testing done from a physician and even more difficult to have someone review your results with optimal markers and a holistic approach. At home testing is a great option when looking for affordable preventative and optimization care.

Easy, Convenient & Accurate
I tried SiPhox Health because of the difficulty accessing labwork services in the remote area I live in. I found the entire process easy, the results came quickly, and best of all, they were very close to the results I received when I went for formal labwork a few months later. Highly recommended!

Great Service & Assistance
I was very excited about getting a complete blood panel completed. I received the kit however I had some challenges with getting enough blood for the sample. I called SiPhox in a bit of a panic but they put me at ease, assisted me in successfully completing the sample. I was very impressed with not only the service but the kindness of each individual that assisted me.

Excellent
Excellent, helpful and valuable product. Very similar results to my blood draw test and more thorough. Appreciate having access to home tests that are not provided by my insurance company or doctor so that I can more effectively take the right steps to take good care of my health. Great customer experience as well.

Opinion from a medical professional
I am a medical professional (physician) and have had an interest in how technology can be used to prevent and mitigate chronic disease. I signed up for the SiPhox monthly subscription in March 2023, and have been using the product for almost a year. I would highly recommend Siphox. I have used/experimented with numerous products targeting (mostly) the consumer. These have included: platforms based on continuous glucose monitors, comprehensive blood panels (requiring visit to lab and costing close to $1000 for single time-point), smart watches, sleep trackers, microbiome testing, genetic testing, analyte meters (ketones, uric acid, glucose, etc.), DXA scans, at home cancer screening, CAC scores, to name a few. While I use these products for personal reasons, I’m always thinking about how these technologies might be valuable to a broader population. A key foundation of maintaining health and preventing disease is EARLY detection and intervention through lifestyle modification (diet, exercise, stress reduction), supplements, or medication. For those who have already been diagnosed with disease and are being treated with medicine, it’s important to know if your treatment is at the OPTIMAL dose to work effectively while minimizing side effects. Unfortunately, it can often be challenging to assess this without measuring the right biomarkers (e.g. tests). While many of the products I mentioned are valuable, key limitations include: 1) they measure a useful biomarker(s) but are limited in scope (meaning they only measure one domain of health and do not give a holistic picture); 2) the biomarker(s) tested are exploratory (meaning while interesting and insightful, it’s still unclear how valuable the tested biomarker(s) are for predicting health status or informing decisions); 3) the balance between cost and benefit are hard to justify (this includes the cost of conducting repeated measurements over time because health status is not static; it will always be changing due to factors such as changes in behaviors, the environment, age, etc. The frequency needed to repeat the test may vary for different reasons); and 4) convenience. SIPHOX addresses these issues. It provides a comprehensive panel of RELEVANT biomarkers that measure lipids, metabolic state, inflammation, hormones, and vitamin status, that contribute significantly to prevalent chronic disease states such as cardiovascular disease (heart attacks, stroke, etc.), metabolic disease (i.e. diabetes, obesity, etc.), neurodegenerative disease (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s) and risk of cancer. These biomarkers are TRADITIONAL, well vetted, validated tests that doctors are familiar with. While there are other biomarkers that are useful to monitor that are not included in the Siphox panel (e.g. uric acid), from a cost vs benefit perspective (<$100/month), Siphox provides high VALUE and a HOLISTIC general assessment of health status. Importantly, by testing these monthly (via subscription) one can monitor and make early proactive adjustments, rather than reactively trying to address advanced disease once it has developed. I have personally made changes to diet, activity, medication (dose) based on my Siphox data and was able to confirm the desired effects on subsequent tests. From an operational standpoint, I can attest to the accuracy of the readings. SiPhox is transparent that these tests are currently being conducted through a CLIA certified 3rd party lab. One limitation includes relative cost: even though I consider SiPhox high value compared to cost, I recognize the out of pocket expense can be prohibitive for some. As the product scales, hopefully this will come down. If one is able to afford it, it’s a small price relative to the cost associated with developing a chronic disease condition. I recognize and appreciate some of the other reviewers’ concerns related to challenge of collecting blood or rejected tests. I have had to re-test on occasion (at no additional cost), but customer service has always been very prompt. In my opinion, these inconveniences are minor compared to the alternative: time and expense having to travel to a commercial lab for monthly testing (hundreds $ more/test and impractical), or not testing at all. I personally believe SiPhox would be valuable for ANYONE who cares about their health, and who has the means to afford it. I hope that in the future, if the company becomes established and accomplishes its goal of developing a home device, there is an opportunity to broaden access to those who might be financially challenged.

The readings don't match up with those from Quest
The readings are not accurate. Completely out of line with my Quest readings going back 8 years. There's no way that 8 biomarkers suddenly go haywire after spending 8 years in a tight range.
1/30/24 - Siphox replied and offered to retest using both Siphox and Quest at their expense - this is a great solution to uncover the facts.
4/22/24 - SiPhox dropped the ball and did not ship a kit until 2 weeks after I had a Quest draw done even though I provided plenty of notice so that a kit would arrive in time to do a SiPhox test on the same day as the Quest draw. As feared, the SiPhox readings were wildly incomparable to the Quest readings. This could have been due to the time lapse between the Quest and SiPhox draws, or it could mean that the SiPhox results are not ever going to be comparable to Quest's. I've wasted too much time and money trying to find out and will have to leave it as an unknown.

Hi Lance,
We take accuracy very seriously and have many members who have done real-world, side-by-side comparisons of their results from Quest/Labcorp to ours with great results. Of course, every test we sell is validated in a CLIA and CAP lab against venous draws.
Some unavoidable variations and mistakes can happen even when comparing Labcorp and Quest to each other. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3689332/#:~:text=in%20laboratory%20medicine.-,Laboratory%20errors%20have%20a%20reported%20frequency%20of%200.012%E2%80%930.6%20%25%20of,of%20laboratory%20tests%20%5B1%5D)
Nevertheless, we would like to investigate your result ASAP to determine the root cause of the issue.
We have reached out directly. (Typically in these cases we ask you to retest literally side-by-side, not on different days, and we cover the retest cost for both SiPhox and venous draw lab).

This site changed my life!
This site changed my life. Regular medicine has said my slightly elevated cholesterol was ok for my age and fitness level; boy they were wrong! This test showed bad ApoA&B levels, causing me to get a calcium test and CT angiogram. Long story short, I was developing Coronary Artery Disease with no symptoms, all while running half marathons and looking “normal”. 2 stents later, I’m back running and have all my biomarkers in check. Traditional medicine is not working! This service allows you to take control of your health. It saved my life!
