Working with Simonmed was shockingly bad. They messed up every single step (scheduling, prior authorizations, patient communication) and never followed through with a single thing they said they'd do.
I ended up having to switch to another service provider as they couldn't get their act together.
I'd highly recommend not using them and switching to another service provider as it will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Disorganization to make patients... sick
TWO stars, not one because I haven't had a test yet at Simonmed and perhaps that's OK.
What is not OK is the most terrible communications I have ever seen. To arrange a CT scan, I called a dozen times to four different offices, finally got the appointment, but the location was wrong, so several other calls and finally had the appointment.
Then 5 days before the appointment, a call: "We do CT with contrast only on Wednesdays and have to cancel your Friday appointment."
More calls, more attempts to arrange a replacement appointment and AFTER it was done, several emails and text messages that I need to rearrange the appointment - supposedly the canceled one, but who knows?

My husband had an appointment today…
My husband had an appointment today that was cancelled because the authorization department failed to submit the required paperwork to our insurance company in a timely manner. The paperwork was not sent until **the day before the scheduled appointment**, even though insurance companies typically need 5–7 days to review and approve authorizations.
Because my husband is scheduled for surgery before that timeframe, this mistake has created a huge inconvenience for us. Now I have to reschedule his surgery, start the authorization process over again, obtain another medical clearance, and deal with additional paperwork and scheduling—all because the authorization was not handled properly.
Honestly, **thank you for wasting our time.**
What makes this even more disappointing is that I **loved SimonMed in the past**. I have recommended SimonMed to many of my patients because of the problems I’ve experienced with other facilities. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can no longer confidently recommend SimonMed to others.
Patients have enough to deal with when it comes to medical appointments and surgeries. The last thing we should have to worry about is whether the authorization department is doing its job on time.
I sincerely hope management addresses this issue so other patients don't have to go through the same frustration and inconvenience.

This is not my first complaint about…
This is not my first complaint about Simon Med... I had a time sensitive ultrasound that needed to be done over 3 months ago. I know for a fact that it was Simon Med that dropped the ball. One of your reps accidentally let the cat out of the bag today. Honor Health sent a referral in late June. I knew nothing about it, nor was I contacted by Simon Med that they had received the referral. In late july I was contacted to find out what happened with the ultrasound. I knew nothing about it until the beginning of August. On August 4th Honor Health, yet again, sent over a referral to Simon Med for me to get a follow up ultrasound, and AGAIN, I checked in with Simon med 4 times since August 4th and they claimed they never received the referral. Today, August 13 one of the reps found it buried somewhere and claimed it was received August 4th and had been sitting there collecting dust... Honor health said they sent the referral 3 other times after I complained that Simon Med didn't receive it.... There is no excuse for this, many failures.... This company is the most incompetent establishment. I am shocked that there's still in business.... Something must be done..I will NEVER use Simon Med again...EVER!!!!!!

Charge $90 for a heart test that was not needed
The front desk staff was slow and one of the staff was chomping on her gum while talking and assisting me. The technician that did my mammogram was great. The worst part is they got me fired $90.00 for the extra heart screening and when I spoke to my doctor today he said that test is worthless because they check me and my blood work. This is the facility on Kennerly Drive in Jacksonville, Florida.

The appointment makers are uninformed
The appointment makers are uninformed, lack any customer service kept expecting me not only to provide them the insurance authorization but the original order from my doctor - which I do not have. I needed a scan for a blood clot and said without the original order from the doctor they could not set a “stat” appointment - they set an appointment over a week out then told me maybe I should just go to a hospital.

SCAMMERS
I recently invested **$1,899.00** in the **Longevity Whole Body MRI** at Simonmed, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. My appointment on **July 9, 2026**, was marred from the start by the lack of clear signage at the Tinley Park location, leading to a frustrating drive around the building. Upon entering, I was struck by how small and outdated the waiting area felt, which did little to inspire confidence.
The MRI dressing rooms were alarmingly cramped, resembling closets more than private spaces, with flimsy curtains offering minimal privacy. The MRI room itself was dated and appeared poorly maintained, lacking any effort to create a welcoming environment- It honestly looked dirty. The MRI machine showed significant wear and tear, raising doubts about the quality of the imaging.
While the technician and front desk staff were courteous, that was the only positive aspect of my visit. When my consultation on **July 16** arrived, I was shocked to find that Simonmed had scheduled it in a different time zone. Their promise to call me back for a reschedule has gone unfulfilled for over three weeks, leaving me in the dark.
It’s disheartening to think that had I not requested a refund, they would have continued to operate without concern for their contractual obligations. My request for a refund was denied by **Cynthia M.**, who refused to communicate with me directly and instead passed the message through chat. I no longer want my images or report from a facility that has proven itself untrustworthy.
Moreover, I have serious concerns about the accuracy of their scans. Areas of my brain and pelvis that I know have issues from a recent MRI at a local hospital were apparently overlooked. This raises significant doubts about their claims of "state-of-the-art" imaging and qualified radiologists.
I have filed consumer complaints and initiated a chargeback with my bank. Simonmed takes your money and then effectively ghosts you, all while understanding that they have not provided results for nearly a month. Instead of taking accountability, they complicate matters for patients seeking refunds.
**This place is a scam. I urge anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.**

I had 2 appointments today
I had 2 appointments today. 7/30/26, at the Simon Med on Thomas and 89th Ave, Phx.Az. for a bone density. I had a mammogram later. The employee at my Bone density was amazing! Very friendly, and engaging. Great customer service. The mammo employee had absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Not a hello greeting or have a nice day, when done.. . Just "That's it" when done. What happened to at the very least, a friendly demeanor. Having a mammogram is not the greatest appt to endure. But, she certainly can have a smile or at the very least a friendly attitude. Didn't catch her name. But will remember her in the future. I've been to this Simon Med before. Never had a mammogram tech with such bad customer service. Hopefully, she is kept around because good films. Other than that... Not so much. Thank you.
