Wish I could give less than one star! I won an auction for some Hummel collectibles, all which were in good shape at time of auction according to the photographs. When received, the items had been thrown into a plastic bag all together and not wrapped to prevent breakage. As a result, the collectibles were received broken into dozens of pieces! Very poor practices! Do not bid on this site!

It lists a toy boat that has an actual weight of 13lbs. and a shipping weight of 117 lbs. which results in a $200 cost to ship ????

Hello Friends, I just added up the 8 auctions I won and the total of my items was $55. I added up the shipping and handling of these items and the total come to $106. They were all shoes, and are items that are easily gathered. The total weight of 3 items was 2.50 from the same location, 1.2 which was recorded as 3, 1.7 recorded as 7, 3 recorded as 4, 1 recorded as 4, and 2 recorded as 3. All the handlings were $3.99. What???!!! why are they recording shipping to be 7 when its should be 3?????????????? You are ripping off the public! Why are you doing this?????? This is unfair and criminal!!!!!!!! You claim to be for the best interests of individuals and families, but you are gouging us with your unnecessary fees!!!!! I am going to post this on your platform to let everyone know what you are doing. In my hopes that everyone will boycott your online platform. My intentions are not malicious, just allowing others to see your unfair business practices!!!!! Be better, Goodwill!!!!

Inflated pricing on scale model railroad items. Bidders be aware that it is commonplace to see a one bidder doubling or tripling the price in successive bids. (Yes, outbidding their self.) I was only interested in Lionel postwar cars/trains and would witness high/winning bids at higher than retail prices. This occurred with weak item description and photos. This is not the Goodwill I grew with. There appears to be no "bang for your buck" at the Shop Goodwill. On the contra, something "fishy" appears to be going on. I have deleted my ShopGoodwill account due to this sketchy auction site.

The auction by shopgoodwill.com is bogus and needs to be investigated by the FTC and BBB The online system will show a price every second during the auction but after the time is over you’ll find the person who has won the deal had submitted a one dollar higher price 8-10 hours back . How that is possible? For example on 6th January at 8.59 pm EST if the auction price shows $94 as the last bid then if I bid $100 at 8.59:01 second even then the winning bid will be shown as $101 with a bidding time of 10.00 am EST ( that means in the morning of the day ). How that is possible??? That means somebody is manipulating the system programmatically. Please investigate. We need transparency in the process

Terrible, horrible customer service at the northern Michigan shopgoodwill. They ripped me off and tried to explain why with lies. I won an auction with buy it now...the auction clearly stated that I had seven days to make my payment...I tried to make payment within two days of the auction closing....they refused my payment and resisted the item on eBay this time without a buy it now option only a bidding option. They took days to get back to me and basically blew me off. I got no satisfaction and someone else bid on the item...I let it go and it sold for the exact price that I had won it for with buy it now. Sorry sorry customer service and terrible terrible customer response. If they would have honored their listing practices they could have saved a customer from being disgruntalled."ME", Buyer beware because they have done something similar to me before where I purchased an item and paid for it and then they told me they no longer had the item. I have purchased some items from their site that are terrible smelling (like cigarettes) they lie in the listings and tell you there is no odors or stains which is untrue and their shipping charges are way too high. They charge you enormous shipping and then it takes weeks to get your item Bad business! They could care less about the customer and are only greedy money mongers. I refuse to ever purchase from the northern Michigan shopgoodwill again. Goodwill is supposed to be a charitable organization but they do not live up to that standard at the northern Michigan Shopgoodwill.

Do not order from this auction site. I've been very disappointed numerous times and has spent way too much money on its auction site just to get garbage product. They show pictures of like the best items in the bundle which are only one or two usually and the rest is just trash but they make it seem like you're going to get a big bundle of stuff that's like good stuff and it's not and then if you try to argue it and get a partial refund or anything of that nature they just deny it and they have all these reasons and multitude of reasons why they don't have to refund your money they are running quite the scandal this is a million dollar company more than a million dollar company they generate millions every year on these auctions and they get all the stuff for free and only donate a very small percentage to actually help people in need.

I was interested in a perfume/fragrance product. Obviously these people just need to take accurate pictures and provide a decent description of an item. Alas, I've expected too much out of a company that doesn't provide a lick of training to their incredibly lazy employees. As for providing a tip for improvement? I don't think it's possible, since this company claims to be a "non profit" organization. Which is run by greedy corporate heads who try in every way shape and form to sell a donated product at high costs, without any repercussions.
