I went into store #208 to purchased a pair of shoes as a gift, ask for a gift receipt cashier told me OK she would print one,I left in a rush to get back to work because I was on lunch, notice no gift receipt called and was told to bring in the original receipt and they could print off a gift receipt for me. Went back the following day to be told that they only offer gift receipts during the holiday time. First off store employees not knowledgeable about there store policies, and what if the shoe doesn't fit the gift receiver , they bring it back, see nothing in the store that interest them they can't get the money that was spent on them ? They need to offer gift receipts at other times not just holidays.

Worst customer service ever..I live 70 miles from a store and ordered online. MISTAKE!!!!! Been trying to get a return label for weeks !!!

Ordered shoes. Received no laces in 1 shoe, and a security tag in the other. Back and forth emails for a week, since closest store is half hour drive. After telling me that they were sending a replacement, expedited, and a free shipping label, waited another day to ask for the security code on my credit card. No. I'm not paying for 2 pairs, while you wait for the return to happen. I want the correct pair, I've never had another online company ask for my card a second time to fix a bad order. Sounds fishy. The customer service here is so disorganized. Did nothing to help me out. Couldn't care less to get me replacement shoes in a timely matter. They should stick to storefronts, and stay out of the online business.

Good customer service and decent pricing.

I ordered shoes from their website and kept choosing my choice of color. I checkout thinking it's still the color I choose. I get and email saying thanks for choosing your shoes in NAVY. I emailed customer service 5 times and I got a reply 4 days later with a mocking tone saying unfortunately we can't change your shoe color because we ship immediately. BS! I didn't get my shoes till nearly a week later. Won't shop online or go back to any SHOE CARNIVAL.

I was ordering my shoes online, and when I went to pay, the amount wasn't added correctly. I called customer service, and not only the price was corrected, but I got the shipping fee waived. Then I got an email saying that my order was delivered, but I didn't get it. I called FedEx and Shoe Carnival, waited a few days to see if the shoes showed up, and called again. They sent me another pair free of charge, and this time I got it. My initial impression wasn't good, but I'm a very satisfied customer.

Don’t order from this company. I ordered online 2 pairs of boots, I live in Wisconsin and they ended up sending my order all the way to chicago illinois. When I called and tried to changed the destination of my order the girl who answered the phone said that my order had to be cancel and that I had to make a new order, so she was supposed to cancel my order, but I had a bad feeling so I told her that I was going to wait to see my order cancelation confirmed, to make a new order. The next day I got a email saying that my order when through not only did she not canceled my order but they sent it to the wrong store, 2 hours away from me. I called again and ask to cancel my order the girl who answered said that they couldn’t do anything about it, that my order already went through and that it was in the store but said that if I waited 7 days they will just return my money. I honestly didn’t trust her anymore and went all the way to Chicago to get what I ordered cause I didn’t wanted to lose my money or whatever I ordered. Some days later, their customer service called and asked me about my call about the cancellation, I told them about my horrible experience and they wanted to give me 50 percent off from my next order online. I was like this lady has to be kidding me, after my experience, I’m never visiting shoe carnival again no thanks their business is a joke and the staff at the store are very rude and unprofessional.

The Fargo ND location has the worst customer service. I was trying to exchange a gift and the lady helping me named Linda got all cranky when I told her I didn’t have a receipt. I was polite with her but she was still snippy and short with me. I’ve worked customer service and I know it can suck but you never treat your customers poorly. Won’t be going back.
