Saw the shine on Facebook and was sucked in by the video. Went ahead and ordered one and have been using it for about a month. We love it! Who wouldn’t love something that cleans the toilet so you don’t have to. I will admit that we did have to clean the toilet really well before we installed our shine but the bowl is still shiney white after a month. You still have to clean the lid the seat and the rim but having the rest of the toilet clean is truly wonderful. So glad we made this purchase and now we’re getting ready to get another one for my moms house. Try it you just might like it I know we do!

The shine bathroom assistant is a very useful tool. I love that my toilet can get cleaned in a safe manner without human interaction or using harmful chemicals and is safe for our septic system. The set up is very simple and instructions are clear and the app is very user friendly. We are in our first week using it but so far it is working on its own and doing the cleaning as expected. The solution is odorless so no overpowering perfumes or parabens, which makes me happy. I gave it 4 stars due to the charger cable not being included, despite having ordered it via Shine a year ago. I have many type A USB cords but this requires a type C. I am happy to have received my unit after a long wait due to Covid but it is ready to stop working due to no battery power. The unit arrived with only 15% battery. I am making the most of it in the meantime. I reached out to Shine and they have been very responsive to my queries. This is a great little unit and it has found a great home in New-Brunswick Canada.

I wait a VERY long time for this to finally arrive and I can say that it was completely worth the wait! I have backed many crowdfunding projects, some never delivered their product, some delivered their product but it was nothing like it was advertised to be. Shine is one of the VERY few times that it SURPASSED expectations! We have 4 and I can't imagine my life without them. They are clearly still working out all the bugs and finishing the support on the APP but you can see the potential and I am excited to permanently check off one house chore forever! Now, if they can just figure out how to make something for a shower my life would be complete!

So far so good. Setup was straight forward. But make sure to have a USBC cable handy since the Shine probably be less then half charged. One thing I can suggest is that Shine isn’t a miracle worker. If you clean your toilet prior to installing Shine, your toilet will stay cleaner longer. We no longer have water stains around the bowl. I have only used shine for a month but the bowl is definitely staying clean. The App has some work to do, it would be nice to see a charging status in the app. But important info is still there. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Shine….

We've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's been great! The toilet is really clean and it deodorizes very well! We had pretty hard water stains which it's almost "melted" away in just two weeks. I had an issue getting one of the units to recognize a flush during the initial setup, but I got a tech support video call set up the next day. The customer support was fantastic and Humberto got it working in about 5 minutes!! Thank you!

Ok. I know talking toilet cleaning is not high on anyone’s list but …. This thing has been awesome. I received mine about 6 weeks ago and have not had to clean the toilet bowl at all. It really works. Of course you need to clean the edges but no more scrubbing the bowl with that nasty brush. Download the app. Set up is super easy. I highly recommend. 😝🙅‍♀️🥽🚽

I am giving this one star because there isn't a 1/2 star. Unlike many others, my product shipped quickly. And, that is where all the positive ended. The unit did not work out of the box. Installed and followed the directions specifically, paired it with my WiFi and the unit sync'ed with my IPhone and showed status. The unit would not activate with flush. After a 3 day wait for tech support email and phone response, I got an email that had me uninstall and reinstall the unit until it started to recognize the flush (3 times - AND a much more arduous process than it sounds). The unit was now activating, but at the wrong time and with little or no cleaning effect. They added me to a private Facebook group were I could ask questions. Finally, they recommended a Zoom call where we could trouble shoot together. After several more un-install and reinstalls, and the tech doing something on her end, the unit was almost spraying at an opportune time - for a week, then back to spraying whenever. I do not have a unique toilet - plane old round builder grade from Home Depot or Lowes. When the unit did spray, it only covered about 70% of the bowel, and with so little pressure, I am not sure what they thought they were cleaning. So, in accordance with their 90 refund policy, I requested a refund, they referred me to their tech support group for a video call, I explained that I had been through that and I was just not satisfied with the product, and in accordance with their satisfaction guarantee, I wanted to return the product and receive a refund. Then - crickets. For over two weeks. No responses to emails. Finally, I went to their Facebook group and asked how to get the refund since they were not honoring their policy. Amazingly I was contacted in less than 5 minutes. We'll see if I get the refund easily or if I get to go through my Credit Card. And, they quickly removed me from their Facebook group. This device is a good idea that is not ready for general release. It needs a lot more development and a much larger support team.

I ordered and paid in December 2019 and am still waiting. I inquired last October and was told COVID delayed production which is plausible. When I looked today it said my shipping date is August 2021. If that is true, it would be good customer service to let me know it is coming. I can’t help but doubt it because there are 5 groups ahead of me. All I want now is a total refund of everything I paid for. UPDATE: Got a refund but not before they told me they could ship me one if I wouldn’t cancel. No thanks. Odd after waiting almost 2 years that now they have one to ship.
