I started like everyone else, a bathroom robot? Come on, cute idea, but will it do the job? Well I’m here to tell ya that I have not had to scrub a bowl since I got one, that was six months ago. Just keep them filled and charged and you will never scrub a bowl again. Light topical cleaning for the rest of the toilet is still required, but the bowl is done. Great product, great costumer service.

Terrible product that has never worked. Called and emailed and Shine will not respond.

UPDATE: So after airing my dirty laundry I was contacted by 2 different individuals. One stating that because my app and my web accounts had gotten on different email addresses they couldn’t see each other. In turn they put them both on the same address and asked me to try again…Viola! It functioned as anticipated and I was able to order additional pods If you take the time you may notice that I offered this up as my screw up and that I suspected that this was the cause. Time from complaint to resolution less than 24hrs. Perfectly acceptable and appreciated. The same day I received an inquiry wondering if perhaps their previous communications had been going to my spam folder. Now I had just received the one email with the solution and now a second email from this individual as well as the two previous cut and paste faq with no changes in filters, but I did due diligence and checked….ummm no. There was also a desire to review my original review. I will tell you what I explained to them Once I received service I was very happy with their departments attention and speed in resolving my issue. That doesn’t negate the original complaint that tech service closed 2 complaints as “solved” with no verification and only a single cut and paste response to each. I’ve seen various recent reviews that individuals have received prompt and courteous service. Perhaps my hissy fit pointed out an area that needed attention or perhaps it was just luck of the draw. Either way I’m still looking forward to my delivery and actually working with the product and being able to assess their product not just their support. rest assured I’ll let you know how things go INITIAL REVIEW FOLLOWS I purchased this item as I have many others I have purchased. As a 1st gen let’s see how this goes product. My expectation has never been that it will be all the things they say it is supposed to be…yet…. I like to tinker and give feedback to new companies about their projects. I have definitely backed some wrong horses in my time but that’s the gamble and if you want a “finished” product wait until it’s finished then buy it and stop complaining THAT BEING SAID…. My issue lay with their apparently misidentified/labeled “customer service” department. I filed 2 different requests due to my inability to activate/order new pods on their unlimited plan. As a disclaimer it is ENTIRELY possible that this error lay with me. My web acct and app ended up on different addresses (which I can’t appear to resolve on my own). Hell it’s possible that I’ve misread my order and only THINK I subscribed but missed a button HOWEVER What I have received from this company amounts to a copy and paste from their faq. One I get, but when restated a second time one could assume that the faq was inadequate or I’m not vey bright or there is a separate issue altogether. In any event it obviously requires a more in-depth intervention. I finally had the opportunity to go back into my account to see both of my requests labeled as “solved” I have no recollection of contact with customer service that asked if the issue had been resolved or not. Just the copy and paste faq and viola “solved” I have sent a 3rd request expressing that it is NOT indeed “solved” and that I need a non copy and paste faq to help me understand either what I f@&$ up or what step was missing from their instructions. The product may be excellent….I am unsure because I haven’t been able to load it more than once and it has just been attached with no solution for well over a month. As much as I dislike airing my laundry in public my hope is that this small hissy fit will motivate them to improve this area of their company and prevent others the unnecessary frustration. Even a great product with poor customer service is a product I could never recommend even to other gen1 enthusiasts like myself

Send to work however getting it to connect is a nightmare of wait and wait then fail then reset battery while to is full of water and repeat about 10 times. So bad thinking I will be returning

Besides everything else, it doesn't keep it clean! We waited patiently to receive the unit. We used 3 cleaning solution pods to get the max clean. A week later and I have bacteria growing around bowl. I wanted this to work, but it didn't keep my toilet clean whatsoever. Steer clear!

It does take some time to receive the units due to the current pandemic and production delays but once I received mine they were fairly easy to set up and the customer service was able to assist with any questions or concerns I had. Make sure the units are fully charged prior to attempting your installation and you should have little problem getting them set up. I have had them for about a month now and they do as advertised and keep your toilet clean. Update: Shine Bathroom has closed down and declared bankruptcy. The units degraded over time as the internal pump was not compatible with the cleaning solution. Good idea, bad design.

I would provided a 5 Star Review but it took such a long time to receive my order The setup was easy if you follow the directions It’s been 4 weeks since set up and the toilet bowl looks great Before Shine I would be scrubbing my bowl at least once a week

Ordered item and was charged for it. I was told the product would ship in September. It’s now mid October. They do not reply to text email Inquiries and they do not connect with anyone if you try calling. I’m going to have my bank issue a charge back
