Shine BathroomReviews of shinebathroom.com

I ordered my Shine units a year ago and literally forgot about them. I also purchased the subscription to the Shine pods at that time as well. I recently received my two units that I purchased and the set up was incredibly easy and they both work as advertised! I am so happy with my purchase and ordering more pods is a snap with the subscription and the app. I think everyone who doesn't love cleaning their toilet should have one of these wonderful units. I sure enjoy mine. I would definitely consider these a must have for myself and a wonderful gift for others!

Ordered three units. All worked well but one leaked. Emailed them describing the problem - received a replacement unit a few days later. All is well now. Customer service is the most common cause for business complaints/failures - my experience with Shine has been great.

It’s early in the game but once the app allows for spraying on command and the ability to adjust the spray after flush time I will give it the full 5 stars. I’m happy with my shine and have faith the changes will be made eventually.

We have been extremely pleased with the Shine. We have bought 2 and not only do they work great, the support team support and service has been fantastic.

This product and company are absolutely hopeless. I received my unit a month later than promised, and opened it up excitedly. I bought it to use on a toilet fitted with a bidet seat, and it doesn't fit. It therefore tried it on one of my regular toilets and it doesn't fit. In both cases the spray head interferes with the toilet seat, no matter where you place it, and it cannot be used with a bidet seat since it thinks the bidet water flow is a flush. Despite ordering a years supply of pods, I only received three, and see no obvious way to get more. It came with 1/2 depleted battery and NO charging cord - you have to go back to their web site to order one! Customer service does not answer the phone. And 24 hours later no callback. They have taken down the form to fill out for returns. This company looks and feels like a big scam to me!

When I realized that bleach tablets set in the toilet tank absolutely destroy your toilet in short order, I began looking for another solution. When I found shine I was excited but also cautiously skeptical. When our shine bathroom assistant arrived there was no trouble with setup or anything, we used three cleaning pods and we're still absolutely floored at how well this thing works! For twenty six dollars a year for the shine unlimited program, I will never physically clean my toilet again! I must wonder if the lower star reviews are a matter of user error I.E not properly using the cleaning solution. In any case I have high hopes for the shine moving forward. Once the shine bathroom assistant is in full production and available perhaps in stores even I know that this will be an immensely successful product!

My shine assistant has been great so far! I am looking forward to when they update the app to include more options in the future. This thing does a great job of cleaning and keeping away rust and hard water stains so far. I’m giving it 4 stars until I see what is to come of it in the future. So far though I really like it! Also, their customer service is outstanding!!! Super fast and extremely helpful!

The unit took a very long time to arrive (ordered in February). Once it got here set up was very easy and it seems to be working well. Basically when you flush the toilet it detects the flush and sprays a cleaning fluid into the bowl. The fluid is non toxic and you have to put one or two pads of fluid into the unit to mix with water depending on use. It comes with 3 pads and replacements are not very expensive. There is a plan for automatic pad replacements if you want one. It works off a battery but so far I have not had to recharge it. The app seems to work well also. All in all I am satisfied. It would be nice if there was a way to include some kind of air freshener as well to deodorize after use of the bathroom.
