I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this company. I believe I have been scammed out of a large amt (for me any way) of money. No one will answer the phones or reply to emails. Many months after placing my order and paying in full, I still have not received the product.

The star rating if solely for the product & not the company or service. I also waited over a year for the device & got in touch late last year. After a few emails, they said they would prioritise the order. I was legitimately surprised when I received the postal order tracker. The device arrived & I was jazzed. Another chore handed off to automation. Sadly the dream of not having to do the work myself would not come to fruition. Communications up till this point had been great, then replies pretty much stopped. I wondered… is shine literally going down the toilet? It’s pretty awful that you can still order online. I would say AVOID. To the people that didn’t get the device & have to fight to get their money back. I feel for you & it sucks that you didn’t get the order. I wish you the best of luck. To the people that DID receive their device. If you are worried about refills I discovered something interesting. The pods only contained salt, vinegar & water. Home recipe 1 litre tepid water 2 grams of rock salt/kosher salt 1 teaspoon of white distilled vinegar Still until dissolved. Pour into the shine device. Start cleaning cycle from app 👍 In summary DO NOT BUY GOOD GADGET BAD SUPPORT COMPANY IS BANKRUPT

I got the email today saying that "notice of assignment for the benefit of creditors and deadline for submitting claims" for Shine Bathroom Technolgies INC. I ordered 4 units of the product Feb 2021 and never got them. I thought they would be cool gifts for family. I don't have much hope of getting my money back but I'll send in my receipt and see what happens. Very disappointing.

Scammers!! Took my money over a YEAR ago. Chased product delivery with little to no response. Never delivered and now they’re in bankruptcy with my money!!

I'm also in the "waited for 5 months, but never received my order" club. No communication from the company, and no refund. I had ordered 3 units, so it was a rather expensive order. Received an email implying they are transferring all assets to another company for liquidation. Absolutely detestable behavior. Truly abhorrent company.

Did anyone else get an email from fileaclaim.info? It asks for your SSN I called my card company to see if they sent it but they said they didn’t so I didn’t fill it out. Curious if anyone else received the same e-mail. I filed a claim with my credit card company after returning the device within the 90 day money back guarantee. I was told a check would be in the mail. It never showed up - they confirmed they received the device - still no word on my dispute. Device only sprays the toilet seat. It doesn’t detect leaks. Glad I cancelled my two order but even still…total false advertising! I’m hoping that they’ll refund me. I did receive my cleaning pod refund. They stopped answering my chats & e-mails after I filed a dispute with my credit card. RUN as fast as you can!

I have just learned that they went bankrupt and I will never get a refund for the money they took. I am guessing by the reviews it wasn't worth it any way. What a rip off.
