Bad system bad support, it is not worthy, dont fall for it, i git the year supply pods with the system and thise never arrived, trying calling client services goest to a loop email that never get responded Bad purchase

It sprays a little bleach into the toilet. That’s it. I am ashamed I fell for it. Total rip-off.

The idea may be a good one. But the product is not. I bought it for a specific reason and it has done nothing for it. Customer service although pleasant enough, is not worth a darn. Like most houses bathrroms are back to back...when one toilet flushes...the shine in the other one activates. Customer service was able to correct one but after two months waiting on customer service for a downstairs...which shares plumbing w/ the washing machine. A load of laundry triggers it 8-10 times per wash load. I still haven't been helped. When you first set it up it says to do XXX to start electrolysis. After the initial I put pods in but they don't seem to do what the first batch did. I bought the "unlimited plan"...and states 24 pods every two weeks...actually the app only allows you to order 12 every two weeks. ( i have 3 shines )

For anyone interested, you can file a complaint with the Santa Barbara County District Attorney Consumer Protection Division. It is a relatively simple PDF form you can email into them. An investigator has been in touch with me regarding this company. More complaints against this company will only strengthen the case. (Unable to post a link on this site, but can be found with an internet search).

It really was too good be true. And yeah it seems Herbert and co have departed. No one answers the phone, no customer service. Amusingly I found a number on the BBB listing for the company that was different from the company’s number and called. A guy answered, music in the background. Turns out he used to be the customer support manager, whom I had emailed with a couple times. All he’d say is that he no longer works there. No one is ever live on their customer service chat, the phone message still talks about the holidays, and yet, they will still take your money on the website. Crooks. Class action suit anyone?

Apparently, Chris Herbert got his money so he is running. As everyone else has noted, absolutely no customer service. Placed a pod refill order two weeks ago - does not even show up on my account. Got sucked into the toilet paper subscription. Got two out of twelve orders and nothing after that. Chris Herbert is getting rave reviews as an innovator - must come from his ability to steal money from people.

Their customer support is the worst. They will not respond to their email even though the site says they will. If you use the Chat it is closed 99% of the time and you have to submit a ticket. I just want a refund for a product I never got. It should be simple to do that but their ticket system puts all the submitted tickets in "Solved" status after you submit them. You have to go to the ZenDesk and add a comment to set to "open". Not that it helps they still do not answer you. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Got the product, wasn't happy, pretty much useless. Returned it two months ago, haven't received my refund, impossible to get a hold of any support. No one responds. I'm about to file a complaint with my local consumer protection dept and dispute the charge on my credit card.
