I am very disappointed in Shine Bathroom. The device seems to work however, getting any support, getting the device to work via the app on an android doesn't happen. I have paid for an "unlimited" subscription of the cleaning pods and can't order them as you have to order via the app. NO ONE IS EVER AVAILABLE to help not online, not via email or phone. I have been attempting to resolve these issues since January 22, it is now February 7, and cannot. I should probably return the device or put in dispute on my CC because I can't even get where to return to.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! I’ll echo most of the recent reviews. Zero response from customer service. I have 2 Shines that are useless pieces of junk sitting in my bathroom. Ordered Shine Unlimited pods and the order is still unfulfilled. The Shines are defective and I wouldn’t be able to use them without refills anyway. Absolutely DO NOT order from them.

Same experience as many others. Order placed in February of 2021, approximately a full calendar year ago from this writing. I am still in "Group 6" awaiting shipping. First it was supposed to arrive in August, then September, then October, and now it has been stuck at November 2021. Still no device. Nothing. Multiple attempts to contact customer service for updates or a refund have gone ignored. A truly infuriating experience. I want my money back. Now.

Buyer Beware They are not responding to their customers who have already received the item. Hi there... BUYER BEWARE I just want to keep people informed of my experience with this Shine Bathroom bathroom company. This has been my experience with this company. They do not answer the phone I have emailed/submitted numerous times to resolve my "Unlimited Pod Subscription" and they mark my request as "solved" without any information or feedback. Except for one time they gave me a broken url link. "I have tried 9+ times to get my subscription activated. Very unhappy owner of 3 Bathroom Assistants. No one will answer the phone/email/live chat is useless. Nothing on your subscription "url" is working and no one is trying to resolve this for me. DO NOT PURCHASE without knowing you may not be able to use this product. I paid for it in June 2021 and received it Dec 23, 2021. I can no longer use the product without the cartridges so it's a big waste of money."

The CFO, Chris Hebert, should be ashamed. Ghosting customers. No product delivered. Crappy (pun intended) service and product.

At first I thought I'd been scammed, money was charged immediately, it took so long to get my order and there was no contact with order info, just that I was in group 7. I got both my units. Installation was simple, no problems at all. I thought it would be more useful, but I still have to clean my toilets though not as often, about twice a month instead of weekly. I live in new construction and my toilets have a black discharge that coats the bowl, we have had plumbers out but the only solution is to get new toilets (they have no idea what's causing it). When I ordered I paid for Unlimited, which so far seems great. I needed new pods and couldn't find how to get them for free so I did a chat on the website and they immediately started my subscription and sent out 12 pods, which came in excellent condition. I have not had any of the problems mentioned here. They have fulfilled their promises, although I do which it would work better.

Most of what I have to say has already been said, but I actually got my Shine units, after a LONG wait. I had also placed an add-on order for accessories and cleaning pods, which I never got. Some issues: The cleaning pods that came with the unit were packaged very poorly and most of the solution had leaked out. It says the battery lasts like 6 months, but it is closer to 6 days. Customer service is non-existent. Have tried a variety of ways to contact over the last few months, and gotten no response. Too bad. With just a touch of leadership, this company could have been something. The product does seem to work. Of course, in hind-site, what it helps probably isn't worth the cost of the units, but still.

Definitely a scam. Items were supposed to ship in October/November. Sent 5 follow up emails, tried the chat bot which they recommend (which gives you a an inactive cancellation form link). It is maddening and completely unacceptable that they don’t respond to requests. Also that they don’t provide order updates. Company should shut down until they have their act together. Awful!!
