SephoraReviews of sephora.com

Grazie Chiara!!!!

Update: 12/15 - I went from 3-stars to 2-stars. I reached out the t email in the reply from Sephora and the reply from "Lindsey" was about the same as the store manager. So the issue is not the person; it is the company. Lindsay missed the whole point of my review (the behavior of the manager) and replied - Sorry you are not happy with our return policy, etc. And a link to read it. am slowly moving away from them in general, my choice. Original Review: I will start with the positive - I have been with Sephora since their birth - literally. In all those decades I have had good - excellent service in stores around the USA. I actually made friends when I lived in Charlotte,NC and Scottsdale,AZ (yes I used to go a LOT). Over the years the focus seems to have switched to just sell sell sell. I can say almost like the Walmart of make-up. The staff does not seem as professional and friendly as in the past nor do they seem to be as talented as MUAs go. I remember I used to get my face done as a perk for being a Rouge member (FREE) and my friends could get theirs done as well depending on the cost of their purchase; and these MUAs used to KILL IT. NOW THE ISSUE: I recently purchased some items via online using PayPal; as always. I had to return a few of the items; I was trying new foundation since Tom Ford is no longer available; nothing worked. I went to the local Sephora at World Center in Miami, FL to do an in store return - as usual. The cashier (nice guy) called the manager over to help because the screen had a NEW message; basically I had to be issued a store refund since I used PayPal. No! I explained that I have been doing this forever and I had an issue one and the manger came over an fixed it and it has never happened at any location again. She proceeds to tell me that it the policy and she will go and get the documentation / paperwork and we can read it together. REALLY! So I agreed that she should go and get it and we can read it together. In any event I was not accepting a store credit. She never came back, she instead called the casher and told him how to "fix" the problem. She never came back to apologize or say - hey this is the policy so please be aware on the future and sorry for the confusion. Point is IF this is a new policy then perhaps Sephora should 1. Send out emails to all their customers to make them aware 2. Have a visible notice upon checking out when using PayPal. Then we will all know that when you use PayPal and make the returns in store you will not get any of your money back; only a store credit.

I’m not impressed at all - My delivery box arrived with a gaping hole in the side and one item missing. The items inside had no bubble wrap or paper so everything rattling around! I’ve e-mailed and sent two messages which have been ignored. I take it the customer service is non-existent? Please send out my Liz Earle Eyebright that I paid for otherwise I will raise a complaint with Trading Standards. DIRE!!!!

I would give zero stars if it was an option. I picked up my order only to find the £200 odd item that I had ordered wasn’t even in the box!! I have been contacting the customer services and no one is getting back to me. It’s disgusting!
