I paid them for laptop my son from walmart (84$) this laptop in comgateway about 33 days,but after pay for delivery service they closed my account with reason my package has been compromised,then i call walmart,and walmart said this package never had problem with payment i have all proof if you need that comgateway is scammer

After making payment for a shipping order on a Sunday morning, I contacted Gateway Express (comgateway) requesting for my consignment to be shipped out from Portland office by the end of business on Monday. I naively thought things were settled when they accepted my request and subsequently issued a DHL Waybill number to me. I found out the hard way that the Waybill number meant nothing more than my shipment being tagged for indefinite waiting in a warehouse. 65 hours after payment, I only have an inactive DHL Waybill number to show for my money.

I bought 4 pairs of shoes in narrow fittings as these are not available in the UK. I was happy with the service which was very good and they answered queries quickly and efficiently. No problems. The only issue is that there were some unexpected costs which meant I would use it less in future. Eg. the duty and VAT were higher than expected and I had to pay my bank some foreign transaction costs. Eg. I bought 4 pairs of shoes (2 in UK size 13 and 2 in UK size 7). The shoes cost $293.04, the shopping service was $29.30, shipping $107.18, foreign transaction fee £8.25, VAT, duty and Fedex advancement fee £74.84. I hadn't realised how much VAT, duty and advancement fee I would be paying (in an invoice received two weeks after the package arrived) so I would buy less in future.

I had never tried using a middleman for shopping before, but I fell in love with a pair of pants that were only available in the US, so I did some research and decided to use Comgateway after reading up on their reviews. I must admit that I had my doubts, because opinions were quite split between "Perfect" and "Terrible". For me everything worked like a charm (well, almost): I used the BuyForMe-option (which I find quite reasonably priced) and the company reacted swiftly with a fitting amount of information on the status of my purchase. I ran into a minor hick-up when I couldn't choose the "Select for ship" button, but after two days with very polite e-mail conversation the problem was resolved and the package was shipped. All in all I am very satisfied with the company and will most likely use it again when I fall in love with the next US-only item :-)

I shipped a product weighing .15kg and got charged for 1.5kg at $36! The item cost $17! Completely unacceptable. They blamed the 'large' box but it was two lithium ion batteries. They must be making a nice little profit.

Good rates and they will notify you u when yout parcel comes in plus it really good Value. They send options if they cant send to your chosen location. Plus they can hold the packages for 30 days. Saves money on prepare and packng

I don't normally bother writing reviews about businesses, but after seeing all the negatives on here I thought I should share my experience. I've used Comgateway for a couple of years now, and have shipped many items through them (at least 5 shipments of 5+ packages each, I don't recall exactly how many). Some were cheap, some were expensive. I have never had an unresolved problem with Comgateway, their live chat reps are very friendly and helpful, their live quote service is quite useful and they do stick by it even if the item turns out to be overweight. I had one item that was damaged either when it was packaged by the retailer, or during shipping. Comgateway told me how to proceed, and the insurance covered the damage with no quibbles. I also had a package that turned out to be overcharged slightly, which they promptly refunded. Additionally, they have waived fees on several occasions for small services as a gesture of goodwill. So far, nothing has made me even consider looking for another freight forwarding company because I feel that my packages are in great hands. P.S. No, I don't work for them nor do I get commission or any kind of benefit whatsoever for writing this review. I just don't like seeing what in my experience has been a great company have its reputation damaged undeservedly.

i bought iphone 6 and antminer s3 from ebay, and using comgateway as my forwarding adresses, but after my items got there, they blocked my account and i can not login anymore, the robbed me for $1400 :(
