Super easy and fast
Super easy and fast! They offered more money for my damaged cell (functional but major cracks in back glass) than any other site so I set up a free account, printed the free shipping label, packaged it in my own box (they do offer shipping boxes), set up a free pickup by USPS next day and mailed it in. As soon as it was received by them, I received a confirmation it was being reviewed and within just a couple days, completed confirmation email with the agreed upon amount verified as sent via Zelle. The Zelle funds were immediately received. They offer several different options to receive funds including Zelle, venmo, PayPal, check, etc. which is great to have various options. It was super easy, convenient and a great experience.
The only TINY criticism is the shipping label prints to an entire 8x11 sheet and it was impossible to resize down on my cell and wireless printer so it's difficult to put on a small box (sizes for a cell phone) but i just used a bigger box - not a big deal.
Overall super happy with the whole process.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review!
We're thrilled to hear that the entire process—from getting your quote, printing the label, shipping your device, and receiving your payment—was smooth and hassle-free. Our goal is to make selling a phone as easy and convenient as possible, so it's great to know we delivered on that experience for you.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the shipping label size. While it's a small detail, we understand how having a full-page label can be inconvenient when using a smaller shipping box. We've shared your suggestion with our team and will look into ways to make the label format more user-friendly in the future.
Thank you again for choosing us and for helping us improve. We truly appreciate your business and hope to work with you again in the future!

I actually would give this company 0…
I actually would give this company 0 stars, if I could. I was sent a UPS label to ship them my S22 Ultra 512gb phone. They received my phone on 6-11-2026. The counter offer they gave me was half of what I was quoted prior to sending in my phone. Regardless, I declined the offer on 6-12-2026. I was given a USPS tracking number. I have emailed them several times since then, asking when my phone will be shipped back to me. I was told in an email yesterday, 6-16-2026 that it was going out yesterday. Well, I just checked it today, it still shows my phone as not being sent out. I feel like they have stolen my phone. I will give it until this Friday 6-19-2026. If my phone STILL is not showing any movement, I will file a formal complaint with BBB & go to my local police department and file charges. I have several pictures of my phone just before I packaged it, and sent it out. I also took a picture of the IMEI number. My order # is SHC-23745.
***Update - I did receive my phone. However, it was missing the original box, charging cable, & pin for the Sim card. I did not see on their website where it wouldn't be returned back to me if I decline their counteroffer. They have told me they're sending it out. I have repeatedly asked for the tracking number several times. They have since ghosted me. I have given them ample opportunity to answer my emails asking for this information. NOTHING! They will only reply to what they feel is necessary. They will also respond to reviews and comment to what suits their needs and make them look good. DO NOT EVER SEND YOUR PHONE TO THIS COMPANY.
If you send your phone with packaging, they will not give it back. The website will offer a higher amount for your device, however they will give you a counteroffer which will be at least half. Then when they do send the device back, they do not send everything you send to them.

Hello,
Your review is misleading and leaves out key facts.
You emailed us after business hours, so we were unable to provide an immediate update. Your device was processed for return and a USPS tracking number was issued. At the time of your emails, USPS had not yet performed an acceptance scan on the package at their facility, which is why no tracking movement was showing online.
Unfortunately, once a package is handed off for shipment, tracking updates are entirely dependent on USPS scans. It is not uncommon for USPS to delay initial acceptance scans, especially during periods of high volume.
Your phone has not been "stolen," and threatening police reports or criminal charges over a package that is already in the return process is both premature and inaccurate. We have provided the tracking information and returned the device as requested after you declined our offer.
We understand the frustration of waiting for tracking updates, but USPS's scanning delays are outside of our control. We encourage you to continue monitoring the tracking number, which should update once USPS processes the package through their network.
Thank you.

Don’t waste your time
I had my cell phone inspected before looking around for a good price. It was in flawless condition. This company asks the basic questions like does it turn on, is it free of cracks etc but once they received my phone they created issues which are untrue and adjusted the price. I immediately rejected this and am appalled at such a practice. When I get my phone back I will have it inspected again to make sure my phone has not been tampered with.

Hi Simon,
We're sorry you're dissatisfied with the outcome, but your review misrepresents both our process and your experience.
Our website does not ask the basic questions you described. Customers are asked to select a condition—Flawless, Good, Fair, Broken, or No Power / Severely Damaged—based on the grading requirements clearly listed on our site. Every device is then professionally inspected upon arrival to verify that the selected condition matches the device received.
In your case, our inspection found that the device did not meet the condition that was selected, so a revised offer was presented. You chose not to accept it, which is completely your right.
That's why we offer free returns. Your phone was returned to you at no cost, with no obligation to accept our revised offer. We did not keep your device, charge you any fees, or prevent you from selling it elsewhere.
We also categorically reject the suggestion that we tamper with customers' devices. Every device is handled solely for inspection and is returned if the customer declines our offer, exactly as yours was.
We stand behind our inspection process and wish you the best in selling your device.

Trying To Scam Me.
I sent in my Iphone 13. After a misroute delay and them finally getting the phone / inspecting it, they tried to say the phone wasn't paid off and that id need to contact the carrier and get them to unlock it. I sent an email back with 2 things of proof. One being an email from T-Mobile and the other being a picture of their tablet and the phones IMEI number showing its cleared. They still tried to say it was locked and they sent a counter offer that went from $142 to $35. Horrible company to go through would not ever recommend using their services. Just use Facebook marketplace or even one of those machines that you can put your phone in. Actually a shit and scummy company.
Response from SecondHandCellJun 18, 2026
Hi Mitch,
We're sorry you feel this way, but there are important details missing from your review.
Our inspection showed that your device had a carrier-related issue at the time it was evaluated. We explained the reason for the revised offer and asked for proof if you believed the device had been paid off or unlocked. After you provided documentation, we reviewed it as part of our process.
A revised offer is never mandatory. If you disagree with our evaluation, you're free to decline it, and we'll return your device at no cost. No one is forced to accept a lower offer.
We understand that not every inspection result will be what a customer expects, but our offers are based on the condition and status of the device at the time it is inspected. Personal attacks and inaccurate statements about our business don't change that.
We stand behind our inspection process and remain committed to treating every customer fairly.

I did receive my phone back but please read my review. I have my review and 2 updates. Suspect is the nicest way I can say it
They received as stated by this companies email to me, they received my phone on 5/26/2026. Order number #SHC-23294. I sent them a mint Samsung galaxy S24 ultra and they offered me $402. They responded back the same day saying I had a unresolved balance with my carrier and if I I did not respond in 7 days they would send me 75% less than
we agreed on. I asked them to send the phone back and they said they would like to finish the transaction with me but would be glad to send it back to me. I have asked for it back again and again. The last time they have responded was 5/27/2026 and I have been ghosted ever since. I have looked at reviews and I see a extremely suspect and disturbing pattern I believe this is happening on a bigger scale and have since contacted the police and attorneys to look deeper at this. Also, every review like man or negative whatsoever , secondhand cell claims to be the victim every time and I see no accountabilty. Well I here to see it. UPDATE-I have received my phone back in the condition that it was sent it. While the company did not respond to me for 11 days, which is why I put ghosted. I was given a reason/excuse for this , but it did not make sense in my opinion . Others say they have had their items never returned which I cannot verify one way or another. It is also imo a very weird case when you look at this companies reviews. They are either 5 stars stating this company is the best thing since sliced bread or a one star stating the product was stolen. There are no inbetween which is very suspect. Also someone sent me a picture of the address of where the phones are sent and its a tire shop and I think a sound/audio business which is very suspect. I tried to call both businesses and got weird voicemails. I would gladly like to have a person reach out to me from this company so I can discuss concerns I have. You have my info so please reach out to me. UPDATE-I talked to a store owner in Flordia who happens to have the same name as this company and he told me on the phone that he gets multiple calls a week from people thinking he is this company and has heard horror stories and everything checks out from my experience except I did get my phone back. I put ghosted in my review earlier bc when I asked for my phone back I never got a response and almost 2 weeks had gone by. I left the first review the next day and one hour later I received a email saying my phone was about to be shipped back. As previously stated I still have my receipt from USPS showing the exact address I shipped the phone to with the prepaid label they sent and Google maps shows a area that's behind other buildings in a fenced in area and all I see is a very small tire shop and a sound system place side by side. Why would your phone be delivered to either place like that especially when the spot looks shady AF. I am not telling anyone what to do but do your research. And this last statement I am making Is not accusing this company of anything but from people I have talked to and reviews here and other places I have read do not sit right with me personally. My dad is a retired federal agent and he has many friends still in the bureau. He has reached out to friends in the area I am referring to and they are looking into things just out of curiosity is all I can say. GOD BLESS

We strongly dispute the claims made in this review.
Your device was received and inspected, and during processing an issue was identified regarding the carrier status of the device. As explained at the time, this affected the valuation and we contacted you immediately to discuss available options. When you requested the return of your device, we agreed and arranged for the return.
Contrary to the statements in this review, your device has now been returned to you and delivered. At no point was your property withheld, nor were you "ghosted." We maintain records of all communications sent and received throughout this transaction.
We understand that not every transaction results in an agreement on value, and customers are always free to decline our offer and have their device returned. However, accusations of criminal activity, police investigations, or company-wide misconduct are serious allegations that are not supported by the facts of this transaction.
We take accountability for our business practices and work hard to resolve concerns professionally. We encourage customers to review the complete communication history and documented timeline of their transaction before drawing conclusions based on incomplete information.
We wish you the best and are glad your device has been successfully returned.
