Please save yourself effort dealing with Schwab. If you decide to open an account with them they going to dig any available information on you to the point that you cannot even verify your identity when you simply place a call to them. Then they assemble so much that they get confused! I filled in the application with my current address but somehow they found that the address of my ex wife and sent my card to that address. Why are you making me to fill in a huge application and then send all my information and card to my ex? Save yourself some nerves and do not engage was this unprofessional company!

Mostly banking experience. Schwab bank out-do every other brick and mortar bank in terms of problem-free banking and online experiences. It can't beat local branch who provides local services, but the benefit is simply unmatched. ATM fee reimbursement feature is next to non.

Never open a brokerage account with this company. They have their stupid rules that prevent you from trading whenever they want. You have money available in your account, but you cannot buy anything.

Charles Schwab is a POSh*t company. I withdrew all my funds and was going to roll it over with Fidelity. I was not given the instruction NOT to sign the check that was sent to me. Fidelity refused to accept the check because I signed the endorsement line. I then ask for a replacement check. It is now 10 working days since I was promised that a replacement is on its way: NO CHECK was ever received. I believe it is a delaying tactic so they can continue to invest the money, making all kind of BS excuses. I will never invest with Schwab again. The representatives sound nice and reassuring over the phone but they are not well trained in giving specific instructions and the DURATION on the arrival of the check. They keep blaming the post office. F C S just like F J B.

Beware ,anyone who has an account with Charles Shwab needs to know majority of the employees work from home. This is a problem for me very unprofessional hearing kids screaming in background. I DO NOT like the idea of employees not being monitored in a institution with all my personal information for example anyone who has access to their computer could get your assets,S.S.nubers ECT.

Pros: no commission trades online, lots of investment choices, website easy to navigate. Cons: so so research info, sometimes inaccurate stock prices.
