They locked up my account, and I can not sue my account either online or offline. And the reason is easy I was trying to make an online transfer and answered one question wrong. However, I don't have chance to pass verification one more time. I have to go to an branch and hand my ID, at this moment, I can not go to an local banch.

I have a debit card of Charles Schwab. Though I don't use their investment products, I am 100 percent satisfied with my account and service provided by the bank. When I lost my card while being abroad they have sent me a new one with no charge to the foreign address at the other side of the world. They always pick up the phone with a human helper unlike other banks. I recommend this bank to everyone. Before that, I had Wells Fargo, and run away from them. Firstly locked me out of their system and required to fill in everything I sent through their website only in paper, in person. 30 pages. Then kept asking for verification throwing me from one support number to another. Asking for a "utility bill" without ever telling why or what the heck a utility bill is from the point of view. And they don't even accept it online, you have to fax it in 2022. Once you finally fax it and they process it - they reject it because "it isn't the right kind of bill". Well at least I figured that I don't want to do anything with them before I moved my savings there.

Good customer service, Daniel from Dallas was very helpful and helped me resolve my issue. 24/7 customer service, what isn't there to like? May have to wait a little bit but hey " Patience is a Virtue."

I opened an account with Schwab before the pandemic, because I thought the no-fee for international atm's was a great perk. Everything was fine with the account for a few years, then I got a letter saying my account would be closed due to inactivity if I did not contact them. So I did, and the gentlemen on the phone said he would mark my account so that it would not be closed. Sure enough, my account balance (around $600) was moved into unclaimed property without any additional notice from the bank. I'm now going through the process to reclaim my funds.

Had wire transfer issues like others. Something is wrong with their system. Put 12 day hold on a transfer for no reason wouldn't give it back and wouldn't send it out. Rep was no help with any issue i had. "We have to be careful with our customers money including yours" was their matra but no explanations and blaming the payroll company that wired money into my account as part of the problem; saying they've never heard of that company before. It was a WALMART payroll account. The rep spoke perfect American English... I was at a loss. Now I'll have to pay to close the account from what i understand. Never got to try the ATM reimbursement. Update: 1 month later my account is finally unlocked and i can get my money. Spent about 2 hours all together on the phone with different departments (5 differnt people). Reasons they gave for this issue was "it doesn't seem right", people don't use bank accounts as conduits for transfers and withdrawals (= mind blown), i wanted to transfer funds too soon after opening account, and complained that i shouldn't want to transfer money out of my account to a trading firm because i should use them to day trade. Everything was fine till i tried to transfer money out of my account.

$50 charge to close/transfer an account. Wow! I'll remember that when I am recommending brokerages. Three accounts, three charges. Immorally wrong.
