SaunaboxReviews of saunabox.com

I really like the easy set up and it runs very well.

The steamer itself quit boiling water on week two. It just stopped. Everything else worked the buttons the levels it just wouldn't boil water. Appears to be very cheaply built

The product is fair and works pretty well actually. I enjoyed it while it lasted. The heater went out randomly and their customer service is terrible. They have no direct customer support via phone and say they will respond to an email. When they do respond it isnt helpful. The chatbot is nothing but useless

BUYERS BEWARE! I ordered a Saunabox Smartsteam Kit Pro on September 7th, 2024, for my fiancé's birthday order number 38811. It was received on September 18th. After 2 weeks of using it, the Smartsteam Pro Unit stopped working. We called customer support, and they got back to us on October 2nd 2024. We explained the issue, and they said they would send us a new one. Order number 41207. Today is October 24th, and they still have yet to send the replacement. We received an email after our follow-up stating there had been shipping delays. They keep telling me the same story week after week, "shipping delays, the back order will be in this week." After further investigation on social media as well as BBB complaints, it seems to be a common issue with the Smartsteam Pro Units abruptly stop working and Saunabox does not honor people's warranty by shipping the new replacement. I paid $349 for this product, and I expected Saunabox to stand by their business and do the right thing. I would like to request a full reimbursement so I can purchase a different one elsewhere.

I had a large IR sauna, I was impressed initially with the sauna box, it heated up quicker and gave me a better sauna experience. but the lid is made a very thin plastic and it cracked within months, so now my sauna doesn't work and their customer support does not assist. they send autoresponders that they'll get back to you in 12 to 24 hours but it's been days, I haven't heard anything back I've reached out to there social media and to their website. I had to buy a whole new standing unit off of Amazon. buyer beware this company has a great product but they have terrible customer service

I can not get the inside of the saunabox to heat up. All parts and hoses hooked up properely. No return emails from my emails. No phone numbers listed to contact someone that may know how to fix problem. Very bad customer service.

This is a 2.5 Star product. Assembly was a complete PIA. The zipper gets stuck in certain places and doesn't hold. Sometimes it's hard to get out because the zipper jams up. We have to fight with it to open up. The device the heats the water has rusted badly. We do not leave the water sitting because it will most definitely rust out. I can't see where breathing in rust would be healthy or beneficial. The removable mat will mold after about 3-4 uses, so make sure to clean it. The steam puck lays on the floor and gets very hot. I can see the potential for some severe foot burns with this device. It's been uncomfortably hot on my feet and I have to grab the hot tubing to move it around. (VERY DANGEROUS) Overall, SB is decent at what it does, but needs a lot of work. Mainly, the zipper. Not to mention that the cheap installation rods bend and the chair will rust at the bottom. Imagine your breathing this in. Doesn't seem like this product was well thought out, and it's very expensive compared to other similar devices on Amazon. Save your money and just buy a real sauna. This one just has way too many things to worry about. 1. Must clean device after every use and it will still rust (unhealthy) 2. Structure rods will start to bow. 3. Zipper gets stuck (you will fight with it) 4. Pot has to be repeatedly filled with water 5. Floor mat will mold after about 4-5 uses. 6. The little steam puck gets extremely hot and is very dangerous. There is too much maintenance for this product at a $300 price point. They got me with some great advertising and thought this would be a great addition to our health and wellness, but unfortunately it may be a detriment with rusting parts and moldy attributes. It's a, 'NO' for me dawg! I don't even want give this thing away because of the health implications I discussed. So here's another product going to the landfill.

My girlfriend bought a saunabox from this company. I got inside while she was gone and did not know there was a box inside filled with blazing hot steam. The box was black with no labels, no reflectors, and the inside of the sauna box was black and steam was everywhere. It spilled all over the top of my foot causing severe second degree burns. The owner of the company called me and said they would come up with a settlement. He emailed me with a resolution of $500.00 and to send her sauna box back to be inspected. I will have scars on the top of my foot for the rest of my life and he offered me 500!!! What an insult!! If anyone else has had this happen lets start a class action lawsuit. Anyone interested leave a review in the comments and we will do this together. This company needs warning labels on the actual box, the plastic box inside the unit and on the outside machine! Very pissed off!!
