We’re a busy family of five, and these collars have become an essential tool for keeping our dogs safely on our property and from wandering onto neighboring farms. Why I Chose SATELLAI Before purchasing, I spent countless hours researching GPS fence systems. SATELLAI consistently stood out because it checked every box that was important to me: * Excellent battery life * Ability to create complex virtual fence boundaries * One simple, all-inclusive Telecom subscription (instead of multiple confusing tiers) * Reliable GPS tracking in a rural area The collars were surprisingly easy to set up, and both of our Anatolians learned their virtual boundaries much faster than I expected. Real-World Experience If you own livestock guardian dogs, you know they don’t exactly take it easy on their equipment! Our Anatolians play incredibly rough, and eventually one collar came off during play and was never found. Before reaching out to SATELLAI, I actually decided to try another very well-known GPS collar brand because I wondered if “the grass was greener on the other side.” It wasn’t. Not even close. The competing system had noticeably shorter battery life, tracking that wasn’t nearly as dependable for our needs, and a subscription model that felt designed to upsell customers. I understand companies need to make money, but having four different subscription tiers just wasn’t appealing. One of my favorite things about SATELLAI is that their Telecom subscription includes everything I actually need. A feature that’s especially important to me is being able to see where my dogs have traveled around our property. With the competitor, I would have needed to purchase their highest-priced subscription just to unlock that feature—along with several extras I had no interest in paying for. Customer Service Deserves Its Own Five Stars Customer service is another huge reason I’m giving SATELLAI five stars. Simply put…wow. Their support team has been outstanding from beginning to end. They are responsive, knowledgeable, understanding, and genuinely want to help. Losing an expensive GPS collar is stressful, yet every interaction with their team made me feel like they truly cared about finding a solution. I’m also the type of person who sometimes takes several days—or even over a week—to reply to emails. Not once did they make me feel like an inconvenience. Every time I responded, they picked up the conversation right where we left off with the same patience and willingness to help. In today’s world, it’s honestly rare to find a company that puts this much effort into taking care of its customers. Final Thoughts After owning these collars, trying a competing system, and ultimately coming back to SATELLAI, I can confidently say I made the right choice the first time. If you have livestock guardian dogs, live on acreage, or simply want a dependable GPS containment system with excellent battery life, an easy-to-understand subscription, and customer service that truly stands behind its products, I highly recommend SATELLAI. One Area for Improvement If I had one suggestion for SATELLAI, it would be to offer an alternative collar band with a more traditional buckle or heavy-duty clip closure. Our Anatolian Shepherds are incredibly strong and play rough every single day. They’ve actually learned how to separate the magnetic clasp on the current collar, which has led to one collar being lost. I don’t believe this is a problem for the GPS technology itself—it’s simply a matter of having exceptionally powerful dogs that put their equipment through a lot more than the average pet. I would love to see SATELLAI offer an optional buckle or locking clip-style collar for working dogs and other large, powerful breeds. I genuinely think it would make an already outstanding product even better. That said, based on my experience with their customer service and commitment to their customers, I have every reason to believe they’ll continue improving the product. As soon as they offer a more secure collar band, I’ll happily purchase it. That’s how much confidence I have in SATELLAI and their GPS system. Five stars all the way

We have 3 collars, 2 for Great Pyranees and 1 for a German shepherd mix. The collars have done an excellent job of keeping them from escaping from their chain link fence and on the rare occasion they escaped the corrections sent them back and allowed us to track their location. The times that I have contacted customer support they have been very responsive and assisted with any issues I have had. The fences are easy to create and use. Features like seeing where your dog has been during the day is a bonus. Great collars and great support.

Amazing collar, Amazing app!! And most importantly Amazing customer support, everytime i have a question they respond within 24 hours and always solve and answer my questions. I even bought a collar from a 3rd party which affects my warranty but they still helped me out as much as they could. Highly recommend this collar for your dog and for stress free customer service 🙏🙏🙏

The tracker drifts an incredible amount. You can have your phone and collar both in one hand and they will be in entirely different locations on the yard. When I was planting white flags in my yard to make a boundary, I was having the collar jump 30-40 ft in my neighbors yard. I do not trust this product to not shock my dog while they're in my yard because of the collars inaccuracies. Only reason for 2 stars is because the set up is genuinely easy. But I would recommend a different collar.

Top notch customer service. When my SATELLITE wasn’t working, which was entirely my fault for using the wrong charging cord, they promptly replaced it. The collar is excellent as well! It’s given me new tools for training my pup while keeping him safely within my reach. The collar can create virtual fences for when we go camping and hiking. I can’t say enough good things about my experience!

Returned within 24 hours. The boundary drifts a LOT. We have great cell coverage and an unobstructed view of the sky and it still didn't work. Your phone gets blown up with notifications that you can't customize. It would consistently show my dogs halfway across the neighborhood. I did everything they recommended to fix this issue. I even communicated with customer service about how to customize the ridiculous amount of notifications I was receiving. The customer service agent told me that I can't customize the app's AI notifctions but I could turn off all notifications from the app on my phone. What good is that? The company's solution when I requested a return was bribe me to keep the product by giving me an extended free subscription. When I declined they suggested I purchase a bunch of their beacons to help prevent false alerts. The beacons are expensive and only last 3 months. No way. Also, I tested out one of the beacons that comes with the collar and since the boundary drifts so much it is essentially useless. They also hide negative reviews. I posted my honest review on their website (which was far more kind than this review but honestly I'm upset that they have hidden my review) and I even verified my review through a third party website with my information and you can no longer see it. I even managed to find a place through Google to leave a review and Satellai's profile has since disappeared so my review is gone. So here I am creating an account through Trust Pilot because my displeasure with this company is so intense. Hiding reviews about a product is manipulative. From what I can see Satellai has no control over this site. We have since purchased the more expensive SpotOn collars and we couldn't be happier. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately, I feel like Satellai over charges for what little their product provides. They also deducted over $50 from my return to cover the shipping of their product. I should have read the Google Play reviews before purchasing. They seem to be the most accurate. Hopefully this helps prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did!

Excellent customer service, rapid response and very helpful and understanding. This collar makes our life with our pet a breeze.

This company has some serious issues with the controlling app/user interface. It currently does not allow adjustment to the static correction levels and constantly sends useless notifications. It really needs the ability to select what notification you want to receive. Customer support states they are working on it but cannot provide a date when it will be completed by. Be warned. This is a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't work for as it should UPDATE: after my review the company very quickly made the app update and fixed the issue. Bonus points for being so receptive but am I seriously the first person to notice this issue?
