Could not pay for premium membership because the website wouldn't let me type in my address. Struggled for 2 hours. Deleted my account and next day I got a notification that I got charged for membership. They also banned me for sharing this trustpilot website on their discord saying they have 1.5 rating, apparently I was spreading misinformation. Worst customer service out there. Tommy on discord is useless. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Ich habe leider den Fehler gemacht, ein Unlimited-Abo dieser Plattform abzuschließen – und es ist eine der größten Enttäuschungen, die ich je erlebt habe. Die Werbeversprechen klingen zu schön, um wahr zu sein, und genau das sind sie auch: unrealistisch und irreführend. Mangelhafte Qualität und ineffiziente Generierung Von den 20 generierten Videos à 10 Sekunden war vielleicht eines (!) ansatzweise brauchbar. Die Qualität lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig: Artefakte, fehlerhafte Übergänge und inkonsistente Details machen die Ergebnisse unbrauchbar, insbesondere wenn man auf professionelle Videos angewiesen ist. Die generelle Geschwindigkeit ist ebenfalls ein Desaster – ein Video von nur 10 Sekunden benötigt 2 bis 5 Minuten, um gerendert zu werden. Trotz des vermeintlich "unbegrenzten" Abos kann man maximal zwei Videos gleichzeitig generieren, was bedeutet, dass man ewig auf den nächsten Schritt warten muss. Unrealistischer Arbeitsaufwand Wer denkt, dass er mit dieser Plattform schnell ein hochwertiges 3-Minuten-Video erstellen kann, wird bitter enttäuscht. Selbst für ein halbwegs brauchbares Ergebnis muss man 18 bis 20 Stunden ununterbrochen daran arbeiten. Und das ist nur dann realistisch, wenn man absolut keine konkreten Vorstellungen von seinem Ergebnis hat, wie bei abstrakten Technomusik-Videos. Hat man jedoch eine spezifische Idee, wie das Video aussehen soll, verzehnfacht sich der Aufwand – man kann also locker mit 30 Tagen Arbeit für ein einziges 3-Minuten-Video rechnen. Absurd! Fazit: Nicht ansatzweise das, was versprochen wird Runway und Co. halten bei weitem nicht, was sie versprechen. Das Unlimited-Abo ist nichts anderes als reine Abzocke. Die Ergebnisse sind schlecht, die Software zu langsam, und der enorme Aufwand steht in keinem Verhältnis zur gebotenen Qualität. Wenn Sie Wert auf professionell aussehende Videos legen, sollten Sie dringend die Finger von dieser Plattform lassen. Für mich war das ein teurer Fehler, den ich niemandem empfehlen kann. Spart euch das Geld und die Nerven! Ergänzung am 15.2.2025 Ich nutze nun das Unlimited Abo nun schon etwas länger und dachte es würde irgendwann besser werden, aber es wird immer langsamer und langsamer. Bis ein 5 Sekunden Video endlich mit dem rändern anfängt kann es 10 Minuten dauern, für ein gutes 2 Minuten Video muss man jetzt schon mindestens 48 Stunden Zeit einkalkulieren, was für ein teures Unlimited Abo inakzeptabel ist.

Horrible. Unusable results, and worst. NO support. I opened a ticket asking for a refund once I saw that in about five minutes I was out of my paid monthly credits with no usable output. I never received a reply. I sent two more messages and still have never received a reply. AVOID!

Runway ML is quite frankly the biggest piece of rubbish ever to grace the internet, even after 50 iterations it will give you poor results, it wont listen to your prompt, half of the generations will just be static no matter what you write, even using chatGPT to enhance to prompt it will give you nothing. the only way to get even a half usable clip is to get the unlimited account and create 100 versions and even then you will be restricted to 2 generations at a time in a relaxed mode. I get the technology is new but this is so bad its nearly a scam. avoid this for another 5 years whilst it becomes even remotely usable. to add to this, the moderators of the runway discord are blocking anyone that even mentions the recent limiting of 1 generation at a time on the "unlimited" plan. its quite scary as they are just censoring anyone that they don't agree with. the reviews on here speak worlds about what runway are actually like. I paid both basic and pro and twice they had to give me the money back after a claim. First time I paid for the basic 15$ and I got not even a second of video that I could use. The videos come out extra slow mo so they last longer and they deliver the time you asked for but if you play them real time is only 1-3 second video what the site provides. Also there’s innumerable bugs as the fact that you prompt three times and nothing happens you close the window and prompt with copy paste same words and does something different. No consistency, no generation and not worth the time or the money investment. Now I paid for a pro plan 33$!!! that I used yesterday with no results and they had to give me back 1000 credits spent. I am going to give it a last chance and if it doesn’t work I will claim for my money again. This is taking advantage of creators around the world they are training their ai while you pay them and not giving any of the promised results but excuses. Let’s see what happens but if they keep scamming people like this I will consider legal action cause I have plenty proof of scam right now…

Absolutely not worth the costs. You basically pay 15 dollars and get less than a minute of video generations which more time than not look terrible and you can't refund. There is many alternatives you can choose.

Long story short I tried out the free version so I could see if the tech is there enough to be worth paying for. It's not. It generated completely unrelated prompts to what I typed. It's pretty cool we are getting to the point of being able to generate good video visuals with AI, but the fact is it's not just there yet. Think Windows 98 levels of advanced, best off waiting till it gets to Windows 7 or higher.
