After 14 weeks on Semaglutide with my Ro account, I am cancelling my membership. I started out with the minimum dose of 8 units and just took my last dose two days ago at 50 units. Some nausea but manageable. Total weight loss so far; .08lbs! Very disappointing. This, after spending nearly $1,200 down for a one-year subscription and another $145 per month.

They get you in with free free free
They get you in with free free free. Signed up provided insurance info paid the 39 dollar fee to find out they just want you to buy it out right and make it a hassle to try and use your insurance coverage. Total waste of time and money

Frustrating experience
my experience with Ro Health has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
I received a defective Zepbound KwikPen that was leaking upon administering it. I immediately contacted Ro through both phone and email. After multiple attempts and being bounced around between representatives, someone finally pointed me in the right direction to request a replacement directly through Lilly/Zepbound.
Even that process was unnecessarily difficult and took several days just to figure out where to go and what steps to follow.
Once the replacement approval certificate was issued, Ro informed me that one of their doctors would send the replacement prescription to the pharmacy. That process also took additional time and follow-up.
I chose CVS as the pharmacy and finally picked up the replacement medication — only to discover the prescription did NOT include needles.
Let that sink in.
This is a medication that literally cannot be administered without needles, yet the prescribing doctor failed to include them. CVS told me they could only dispense what was written on the prescription.
When I contacted Ro again, instead of taking ownership, they told me to “take it up with CVS” because it was considered a refill. At that point, it became obvious that the representatives were not reviewing prior case history and were simply passing responsibility around.
As a result, I had to dig through my garbage to recover leftover needles from the original defective shipment. I could only find two — meaning I am now short and unable to properly administer the rest of my medication unless this gets resolved.
This entire experience reflects a serious lack of coordination, accountability, and patient care. When dealing with medications, especially expensive and time-sensitive ones like Zepbound, details matter. Communication matters. Continuity matters.
Instead, I experienced delays, conflicting guidance, poor follow-through, and a complete lack of ownership at every step.
Patients should not have to fight this hard to correct problems they didn’t create.

Great customer service
I had tried another program. But that one did not offer face to face interaction. I really appreciate the face to face service and how kind and supportive dr. Carter was. I think I have much better understanding in moving forward and feel more confident in starting an injectable glp1
